Thanks, but that's the regular price. I've seen it drop to $56.97, but was curious if it would drop further.

interesting that Toysrus has it for almost $20 more then :P

Hmmm....I've looked at it both at Walmart and Target, in the stores, and their's were priced at $59.97. Target has it on sale for $56.97. Maybe that's a good price after all!!!!!!

Since the Angry Birds board game is so hard to get, I thought I would share this. My DS7 is Angry Birds obsessed, and always pretends he has imaginary birds around the house that he takes care of, so I wanted to find him something, but not the plushes because those will just sit here. Kmart had a whole collection of Angry Birds figurines! They come in packs of 2, and they're adorable!!! I got 3 packs: The white and red birds, the blue and black birds, and the yellow bird with a pig. They were $6.99 per pack. This is going to be a huge hit in my house on Christmas. This might just be my kid though, I don't know. But just in case, I wanted to tell you about them! Here's a link! http://www.kmart.com...=1&blockType=G1

The Angry Birds will be a huge hit in our stockings too! Thanks - I am heading to our KMart tonight. Anybody seen any good blocks that we could use to build the towers so we can launch the birds? :)

I thought these looked kind of fun for young hot wheels lovers, plus it gives them a place to store all their little cars:

http://www.amazon.co...17852144&sr=8-1

http://www.amazon.co...17852144&sr=8-2

I have a couple young car enthusiasts at my house and thinking I'll get these for Christmas with a big pack of cars for each.

I think you have a winner here! These look great for travel during the holidays when the kids normally do not want to leave their toys!

Here is an hour long video of classic toys from the 50s and 60s. In the playset commercial by Marx, you might recognize the child actor, Christopher Knight. Better known as peter Brady. A decade ago, I tracked him down for an interview about the commercial. He said if i could refresh his memory about the video, i would be granted the interview. I quickly sent him a plastic figure from the set, along with a copy of the commercial. He was astounded that the commercial still existed, and the rest is history.

They had a new shipment of the angry birds knock on wood game about 2 weeks ago at TRU. I would check there because all the stores in my area had not sold out yet. Also, prices on ebay are around 19.99...not sure about shipping though.

That was awesome-thanks for sharing!
I noticed Patty Duke in the first commercial and the other Remco ones.
I was born in '62 so several of the toys were unfamiliar to me but wow-so gender specific!
Dolls for girls and guns/rockets/military/robots for boys.
They had all the fun lol!
Cool story about Chris Knight :)

I have to honestly say that I don't remember any of the commercials (just the toys) because I just didn't watch much tv.
Since there were so few toy choices anyway, if you didn't have the toy, your cousin or best friend
or neighbor surely did!

I saw this in my WM tonight:
http://www.walmart.c...d-Game/17217555

I thought this looked cool as it had the birds, blocks and a slingshot thing. From the picture on the back of the package, you draw cards that show you what you have to build. It looked super cool for $14.xx

I was thinking the same thing...I'll probably just let my sons come up with their own thing. I'm guessing they'll pull out some Lego's or the old wooden blocks we have or something. :)

At this point since I have the little bird sets I'm good, but I'll tell ya I had one heck of a time trying to track down that Knock on Wood game around here. Everyone kept selling out! I never think about Ebay, I don't know why. Oh well, at least he'll have these birds to play with. Thanks for the info, though! :)

No luck at our Kmart but I just checked Amazon again and they had the Angry Birds Knock on Wood game back in stock for about $20. I went ahead and ordered since our WM is sold out and online was as well. Kids will LOVE it!

Good for you! :) Your kids will be so excited!! I saw that there's also a beanbag toss game and a card game from the makers of UNO. I'm not sure if I'll pick up either, since I have this set of birds now. This will be enough for my son. But you never know what can happen when the holiday excitement overtakes me, as it always does. Lol!

Don't forget to check stores you wouldn't think of. Walgreens has the game for $20 also. My son works there and was going to get it for his nephew (5yo), but I didn't know anything about it. I think now I will have him get it and also the Uno type Angry Birds game.

I just purchased the Let's Rock Elmo with Bonus Guitar on Toysrus.com for 59.99! At one point walmart had this combo but have since sold out! The guitar by itself is 19.99 so I thought this was a decent deal!

angry birds board game...ugh. I went to TRU,Kmart, and Target to today...nada. Then I got home and Target.com says my store has it in stock! errr. I am going to call them in the Morning and see if they really have it. Amazon is selling it for almost $30 now and I am not paying that. I did pick up the Leap frog bundle from TRU today and there was only 3 left. Lady said they just found them last night in the back and they would be gone by the end of today. She said it was a super hot item.

Since I had such a tough time trying to find that game, and didn't want to pay that price for it, I picked these up for my little Angry Birds obsessed DS7. http://www.kmart.com...=8&blockType=G8

But I also have a friend who bought this set for her daughter and even though they're billed as cake toppers, they're actually really cute little toys and very well made! With this set you get 7 birds and 5 pigs! http://www.amazon.co...20729467&sr=1-1

Also, if you're ordering online, Kmart has some of the Knock on Wood game in stock for $16.99! http://www.kmart.com...=2&blockType=G2

What would be good for my 3 year old granddaughter that has everything? HELP

My 2 and 5 year old daughters are in love with the tv ad's for the new "Sing and Story Telling Belle". I admit, it does look really cute. However I REALLY hope they bring the price down. $79.99 at most places right now.

I just got it at kmart.com with instore pickup. I will check TRU instore later this week, but I had no idea this was getting so HTF, and it's one of the few things that one of my DSs said he wanted, so I had to grab it while I could...

Congrats on getting it! Yes, in store pick up means your local store had it in stock.

My Local Target told me yesterday that they were getting a shipment in this morning and it should be on the shelves by 9am. So I am heading there this morning. fingers crossed. DS really wants this!

And ....they had it! Yes! so glad I don't have to worry about that or the leap pad tablet. And I have my saved receipts so if anything goes on sale I will be ready!
