amiller17 Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I was wondering what store runs the best sales for various items. Last year was my first year and it was an experience. We went here and there without any plan and I don't want to do that again. I am looking for toys for a 5 year old boy, adult hunting gear of any kind, a computer for my son and maybe a laptop. Also dvd's and the games for psp and such for family members. I Deeply Appreciate ANY AND ALL INFORMATION. I'm for it!!! I hope I did that right - the last time I couldn't get an icon to appear. lol!
RossMAN Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 It really depends on what gifts you're looking for. If it helps you can look at 2003 and 2004 Black Friday deals herehttp://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=14280
elena_398 Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Walmart is great for toys! Plus they price match. Other than that, depends on what you are looking for-electronics etc.
okiebakerrb Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 You have to check all of the adds and contact stores before hand to see if they will match competitors prices.(This cuts down on driving) It is also a good idea to see if you can buy items online. This also saves you money on gas. Make a plan and make sure to take your adds with you.
Gator Pam Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 I've never done BF online. About what time of the day do the BF specials get offered on the online sites?
Guest Deals4Me Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I think considering all ads are out now, that Walmart is gonna be the place for me this year. My walmart handed out an ad that said they WILL be PMing the competitors. So in that case, I just complied my list and will be heading there for everything possible! I may STILL have to hit BB, and hubby WILL be at Sears for the wish card, but we wont be going many other places unless our fave dollar store is open.... God bless Pricematching!
shopping mom Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I always start at Wal-Mart. The PM saves alot of time if you can locate the exact items in the store. My list is always in order of the next store but sometimes I can cross off a couple because of the price matching.
