mcwalker Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I have used a cart in some stores, not others, mainly depending on how much I was getting at the particular store. Yes, I have been stuck in some cart jams, but it has not prevented me from getting the things I went for, an allowed me to carry a lot. I do think the idea of oversized shoulder bags, like the one from Ikea, is a great idea if getting a bunch of smaller items. I will probably take one this year.
jade2002 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I made the mistake of getting a cart many years ago. It was the first and last time of getting a cart for me.
sherril Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 i dont know if this has been posted but in past yrs ive used large lawn sz trash bags and laundry bags.
citrixgirl Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 i am not going after anything big or overly heavey so i am thinking the reusable bag from sams club will work for me.
mommy2twingles Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Ikea shopping bags or I also have one from Macys that I bought many Black Fridays ago. The Macys one looks exactly like the ones at Kohls. I actually had someone want to take it from me when we were done shopping at Kohls a few years ago.
honey_bee_1979 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 no cart, no pocketbook or purse. I wear jeans with deep pockets and carry my coupons/giftcards or credit card that way. I have a fear of putting my pocketbook down or just lossing it. Carts are too much. You can neverr get through where you need to. I find it much easier to manuver through crowds with nothing attached. We also drop off our purchases in our truck before we move on.
