otonoh Posted October 19, 2010 Share Posted October 19, 2010 (edited) I am looking to purchase a touch for my teenager. the 4th generation has face talk and is a bit faster. Other than that I don't see a huge difference. He has a phone and the face talk only works if his friends have it. Any thoughts. The price difference is about 70 dollars. Also I didn't pay attention to them last year. Do touches usually go on a good sale or should I snatch one up now if it goes on sale. I honestly don't want to stand in line for 12 hours in 10 degree weather for a chance of getting one out of 8 touches available. thanks. cajunmomof4 Posted October 19, 2010 Share Posted October 19, 2010 we have the 2nd generation and my son is getting the 4th for Christmas. 4th gen has a lot more features that the 2nd doesn't If I were you I'd go with the 8GB 4th gen.
