No one in line here in Lafayette LA when I did my drive by 10 minutes ago.

Got 2 with no problems. Very impressed with our local Walmart this morning.

First in line at 5:30am. Got my laptop and Itunes card and my sister got her TV. My walmart only had 4 of each TV. Lots of people were upset. One lady even went as far as asking if I would buy the TV for her and she would pay me back. I told her it wasn't fair to the ones that came early and got in line. She was a little upset with me after my response so I told her next time get out of bed at 5am like the rest of us do for the items we want.

:yup:While being first in line this morning my sister and I got all the scoop from the electronics manager at our local WalMart and she said the same thing. The only thing different is she said they will have certain things available for purchase at Midnight.

Will be at my local Walmart tomorrow morning at 5:30 for the laptop. I've been three years in a row for this Compact laptop for my 4 boys. It's an awesome deal.

Don't you just love it when someones starts a sentence with "No offense"... Well of coarse you are offensive. I know you weren't asking how to parent your child right? I bought my son an ipod touch 2nd gen. when he was 7 and he is getting the 4th gen for Christmas...... No problems. Teach them the right and wrong and you shouldn't have any problems.

Before Thanksgiving... Usually 2 weeks before. Last year it was on Saturday November 14th :). I go every year for the laptop deal... with 4 boys its worth standing in line for a couple of hours.

Oh and make sure if you order it says 4th generation newest model.

we have the 2nd generation and my son is getting the 4th for Christmas. 4th gen has a lot more features that the 2nd doesn't If I were you I'd go with the 8GB 4th gen. It's 229.00 at Best buy right now and you get a free GPS system with your order... awesome deal.

I think it was misreported I don't see it in my Wal-Mart circular. I wanted that one also.
