HansieDZ Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 LINK to specs. runs windows CE. No need to wait til BF for 99.99 netbook, but I'm holding out for laptop I saw this and thought to myself, "okay,if someone asked me where I got my netbook and I said CVS......." And if you could get one of those $4 off $20 coupons and used some ECBs,you could score a real deal. I wouldn't doubt that CVS (and by default,Walgreens) has something very like this deal for a Doorbuster on BF.
Rockfordmom Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I saw this and thought to myself, "okay,if someone asked me where I got my netbook and I said CVS......." I saw it today at CVS and thought the exact same thing!
AndreaInNC Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 hhmmm .. I got a take 20% off my entire purchase coupon in the mail that is good 2 days this week. That would drop the price almost another $20.00. anyone know if this is worth the price or is it a piece of junk?
tinkrbel Posted September 7, 2010 Author Posted September 7, 2010 It's being described as having many limitations under BF forums (based on poor specs) with everyone expecting much better deals on BF. If you need one now its not a bad price but very limited in what it will let you do.
freesia39 Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 I would hold out until BF. http://www.examiner.com/social-media-in-knoxville/sylvania-99-netbook-at-cvs-part-2-the-first-day-1 Seriously, it's $99 and it's sold at CVS. The specs are never going to be good. It's probably barely functional. I'd rather try to use the internet on my crappy old phone.

laddhorn Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 You want to stay away from the "CE" version of Windows. It's not much good.
katiesmommy01 Posted September 15, 2010 Posted September 15, 2010 I would wait for another netbook on black friday, even a cheap piece of junk is a piece of junk ;-)
