Walgreens has a $3 mail in rebate this week. But you might want to check prices - Home Depot and Lowes are normally cheaper.

i just bit the bullet and bought a blue rhino i guess they were all gonna be about the same prioce

They are about half the price if you buy one at Walmart or Lowe's in the grill section as opposed to those cages out front. We paid $19 for ours (empty) at Lowe's, but it was $45 to get one in the cages outside. You can return them as you would any other one.

we have a rv/camper store here and it's much cheaper there to have them refill it than it is to exchange a can at one of those cages outside the stores

Our canister exchanges are like $17 to $19 here. I don't know how much is it to have it refilled.

 

I just saw a notification of a class action lawsuit against one of those companies. They are claiming that they didn't fill them all the way up before they put them out. Now that sucks.

My DH went to Exxon to have it refilled and they told him 25.00. Told them that was high for our area and was going to take it to Home Depot to get exchanged. Then they told him they would give it to him for 20.00 and fill it all the way up. Aren't they supposed to fill it all the way up anyway? This Exxon here is notorious for not having prices anywhere and charging whatever they feel they can get out of you. Not run by Americans by the way.
