VTmommy Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Have the following 2 items in my cart (1 is a lightning deal!) and wondered what you all thought was the better camera, as the pricing is about the same...it is for my in-laws, and they have no digital camera experience and not a lot of tech knowledge, so it must be easy and intuitive. Thanks for your help! Fujifilm FinePix Z30 10MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD (Whirl White) - FUJIFILM Special Price: $79.99 (save 47%) ===OR=== Nikon Coolpix L20 10MP Digital Camera with 3.6 Optical Zoom and 3 inch LCD (Deep Red) - Nikon $81.46
freesia39 Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I'd almost rather get the Coolpix because it seems more like a "camera." You can just shoot in full auto mode. Plus the bigger screen would be a plus.
blountl3 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Nikon......I only buy Nikons or Canons, though. Have never had a problem (I'd consider myself an amateur). They take great pixs!
emilygracesmom Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 I don't buy anything that says Fuji. They are the reason Kodak products are not sold in the asian markets. So if we can't sell over there, then I'm not buying theirs over here.
EazyE Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Bump. So my brother has finally decided to let me know what he wants for Christmas this year, a digital camera. What is the best deal out there for camera's right now. There are sooo many it's hard to decide which one to buy. Thanks!
VTmommy Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 So, I wanted to update and say that I didn't pick up either one of these cameras as of yet...have been thinking of pulling the trigger on the Sears one that I can pick up at the store mentioned in this thread (although I am too late for the $1 off). Worth it? http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=163129&highlight=sears+camera
