cbtlab
is there a catch to all these 5.00 magazines?????? It doesnt say anything unless you give your cc number first
jlr1260
The small print on the bottom of the page says Hearst Magazines division. That's the publisher so I assume there's no catch. My guess is it's for new subscriptions since there's no place to check off that it's a renewal.
jlr1260
One thing you may have to watch out for is if they set you up for automatic renewal. That happened to me with my last subscription to Good Housekeeping. I paid for the renewal, then I went into my online account and disabled automatic renewal. blountl3
I am always the skeptical one, but just because it says the publisher's name at the bottom doesn't mean it's the actual company. There is a hearstmags.com (without the additional info on the link provided), but the price there is $15 for a year. I can't find anything on their actual site for the $5 deal. I did email the company to make sure it was a legit offer before ordering. I'm waiting on a response. OP, where did you find the $5 off link? Was it from an email directly from the company? If so, then it should be fine.
onecutemoocow
There was something like this last year for cosmo and I know a lot of ppl jumped on the deal but I was thinking it was thru amazon.com. Not positive though. So how do you stop the auto-renew?
jylleee
Amazon has this for $15 and then you get an extra $5 off at checkout. Not as good as $5 but for those who'd rather order from some place reputable. Also, might help for someone trying to get $25 for SSS. http://www.amazon.com/Food-Network-Magazine-1-year/dp/B001LJGVM0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=magazines&qid=1260838645&sr=1-

blountl3
Thanks everyone for the info. I am always cautious because I got scammed awhile back on some subscriptions. I had already ordered 11 of these subcriptions before you posted at $10each, but at $5 went ahead and added a few more.
