rachealb Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Since my son started high school, everyone in our family gets up around the same time... three showers in a row and the water heater just cannot keep up! We cannot get a bigger water heater as the utility room does not have room for one, so I am thinking maybe we could try a new showerhead- one that uses less water but still has nice spray/flow. Any suggestions? There are soooo many to choose from! Thanks!

AndreaInNC Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 I think a tankless water heater would be a better idea.I 2nd that one. Althought it might be more expensive in the beginning - you will find that it will pay for itself in the years to come. My sister has one and loves it!!!
rachealb Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 we thought about that, but unfortunately we just replaced our water heater about a year ago so we are going to try the showerhead first =(
AndreaInNC Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 maybe you can just keep flushing the toilet while the teen is in the shower? One blast of cold water and they usually get out quickly! I know I've seen a really inexpensive one in Home Depot - less than $10. Maybe you can try that one and see how it goes? You'll notice it in the showerhead aisle - is has very minimal packaging and says low flow shower head.

rondadeal Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 I bought a great inexpensive low flow shower head (less than $5 I think) at either Lowes or HD a couple years ago and---I am not kidding:tongue1:---it is the "Good Head". It has good shower force to it.
GotoBrandi Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Amazon has one right now in their Gold Box for $34.99.
