yakinhix
I'm just wandering because it seems EXTREMELY slow. I ordered 2 Wii games in the 2 for $20 value bundle that Walmart had early on Thanksgiving Day. It is now 13 days later and they still have not gotten to the store for me to pick up. I've used the site to store before and it wasnt this slow. Just wandering if anyone else is as aggrevated and tired of waiting as I am?
waitress07419
You are not alone-oh holiday shopper-I, too, bought the Wii games for that amazing low price ... my estimated pick-up date is around 12/11/09. Hopefully the line at "Customer Service" pick up will be minimal-LOL!
Mikesgirl
I have had problems when the items arrive in store they wont scan in and so you never recieve the email telling you that its ready for pick up. Log into your walmart.com account and track the items.. I had one person give me my stuff even though it wouldnt sign in she just had to get a supervisor to over ride it but a different time they refused to give me my stuff because it wouldnt scan in so I just called 1-800-925-6278(1-800-wal-mart) while still at site to store and let them know that the manager refused to give me my order and they called the store and had them do something then it would scan in.. Mandy4Matt
The problems I have had with Site to Store are inside the store. Shipping is usually pretty quick..but when I get there to pick up my items... the employees are clueless. I have never gotten in and out..my wait is a minimum of 15 minutes and I have never seen any other customers there either.
Shortness
I've used it many times and never had a complaint--well until a minor one recently. I went in to pick up my stuff and they couldn't find one of my items. They said it wasn't there. 2 different people looked in the back and they finally figured it was still in a pile that wasn't put away. Went back a couple days later, got someone knowledgeable and she brought it right out. She said they started putting smaller items in a box, instead of the shelf, and many of them don't know to look there yet. Other than that, never any issues. SuggaD
Nope. Sometimes you need to help the clueless workers out on locating the package, but otherwise, good.
Dutchess
LOVE site to store, especially when its a large item that Im able to save $$$ shipping on. Im with everyone that said the only issues are IN store when picking items up. I ordered a few things on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, all are already in and ive picked them up with no issues. I use S2S a LOT during the year too.
tn20
Last year I ordered something that was estimated to come in by 12/15 (I had ordered it the very begining of Dec)... I hadn't heard anything by 12/23, so I called, and within an hour or two, I had my email saying it had arrived. I'm pretty sure, like others, it was there, but hadn't been scanned in an received and had been sitting there for 8 or more days. This year, for the couple of things that I've purchased from WM.com, I've paid to have it shipped to me, because I didn't want to deal with site to store again. If it were a great deal on a big item where shipping would be expensive, I would do site to store, but I would go into expecting some issues. 95% of my local WM's employees never have any idea what they're doing, regardless of what it is. naturegirl
I had a HUGE problem with Walmart's site to store very early this year. I had ordered Wii games using site to store shipping. I did not pick those right away. There were 2 more days remaining before the deadline and I received an email, "Thank you for picking up your order". And I was like.......I did not pick up my order , WHAT IS GOING ON? I called up CS, they said that they cant do anything since they believe I picked up the order. And I should go to the store and work it out there. I went to the store, talked to CS there. After being passed on from one manager to the other, I got to talk to their main manager. She said that they will show me the receipt that I signed on while picking up the items. I said, go ahead, I am so looking forward to it. They bring the receipt out, it has a scribble on it for the signature. I told the manager, Do you really want me to take out my driver's license to prove that that is not my signature. And I asked her how come the name of the agent part of receipt is conveniently ripped. She then told me that she will check the video. They checked the video and told me that for the time stamped on the pick up receipt there were no pickups 1/2 an hour before or after that time. They then refunded me my money but promised me to take this matter to upper management. I did not order anything online from Walmart since then. During BF i placed an order and am waiting for the pick up email because this time I wont wait till last day. I have learnt my lesson. peppysfireball
I hate Walmart shipping of any kind. It takes forever. It usually takes 2 weeks for site to store. I buy anywhere else I can.
jendeere
I've had nothing but problems with site to store and refuse to use it anymore. The times I have used it, there isn't anyone in front of me, I push the button letting them know I am there and it still takes over a half an hour and several managers calling to get someone to come help me. Then they usually can't find my item, telling me that it isn't there yet and to come back in a few days even after I show them the email saying its ready for pickup. Too much hassle for me. I would much rather pay shipping than to put up with that every time. Oh, and its taken 2+ weeks to arrive every time I have used it.
mom2monkiesx3
I think its ALWAYS been extremely slow in my experience, then again I AM an avid Amazon shopper and after that you cannot really compare anything else. The things I ordered as soon as they went online BF I just got pick up info for TODAY.
Indie
I have used it a couple of times and each time it was extremely slow and no one is stationed at the site to store desk so you always have to wait. The first time I used it they lost my items....couldn't find them at all so they reordered, the second time they said they arrived damaged and they had sent them back so I just picked out something different at the store, wasn't worth the hassle waiting on the third shipment. This last time the item was there but again it was just a slow process.
EYGLE
It is slow...I think they only put on truck if they have room or something. I would call and not wait for the email to say it ready, or try tracking it.
katiesmommy01
I've had alot of problems with Site to store...they can't find my item (once making us come in 3 days in a row while they looked for it and then just saying "sorry, we lost it") they never make ammends and won't give you the SAME item from off their shelf (saying that .com and the store are different stock-wise)...no customer service period...and you ALWAYS have to wait forever for someone to even come help you pick-up your items...PITA
lelee24
I can't complain about the shipping time, but when I went to pick up my items the girl couldn't find them in the back. She came back to the counter and said, "I can't find it,".....and just stood there. So I said that I had the confirmation on my Blackberry with the number and it was back there somewhere. So the girl went and looked again with the same result. Again she just stood there and said she couldn't find my stuff. So I finally told her I had already paid for it and the email said it was back there and she should maybe get a manager to help her or I could come look. She tried again and found it. I don't know if she thought I was just going to give up and leave or what!
nef
The things I have order have always gotten to the store pretty quickly, but the problem is there is always a line and they do seem to have problems finding the packages. It takes forever in line.
yakinhix
FINALLY after 13 days, my items got to the Walmart store and after 30 minutes in line I was able to pick them up. All that for 2 video games that were probably there the whole time.
