I'm interested in a laptop (the $399 Sony) and I know I'll need to be there super early, but I'm just curious as to how many the store may have in stock. Only the store manager knows what the stock levels are. On Thanksgiving Day BB transmit the stock levels and numbers into each stores system. This way they cant pre sale anything. People line up outside of stores to get deals on things that they want. And as bigjim said, how much is stock there, it only knows Inventory keeper or the Manager. I work at a best buy and we just got the first black friday shipment in. I am not allowed to say how many there are though, there are many. There's 6 or 7 pallets of Black Friday merchandise, in general. If you're talking 10:30 - 11:00 PM Thursday night, the Best Buy line is usually in full force by then. By Wednesday morning there are around 100 people. I am a trend setter! Where are you located? I read somewhere that someone said they showed up at 3:00AM and there was like 300 people in line.
