  1. How long after the sale started did you complete your order online?
  2. Any time I've ever been to Wal-Mart on Black Friday (including working BF 2 years at Wal-Mart), all of the items that were blitz items were taped off with the yellow caution tape until 5AM. Once they took the tape down, shoppers were allowed to get what they wanted. I'm not sure if this is done every where else, but this is what I've seen in the past.
  3. Where are you located? I read somewhere that someone said they showed up at 3:00AM and there was like 300 people in line. I might could possibly be there around 10:30 or 11:00, surely there wouldn't be that many then. And 6 or 7 pallets of them? That's a lot.
  4. Yeahhhhh! If you can't say how many, then how about this - I plan on showing up around midnight to stand in line. If I show up around that time, do you think I'll still be able to get one of the Sony laptops???

    Number of items

Is there any way to get a general idea of how many items a store will have? I'm interested in a laptop (the $399 Sony) and I know I'll need to be there super early, but I'm just curious as to how many the store may have in stock.
  6. I've never been shopping at a store that doesn't open super early or is open 24 hours on Black Friday. I'm planning on purchasing a laptop from BB or Staples this year. What time do folks normally show up at these stores? Anyone have a clue??
  7. A few stores usually have the early sale, around the 1st or 2nd weekend in November, does anyone know anything about this for the 2009 year?
