edmicman
Which ones are valid for this? I just configured a 6000 and it won't take the coupon. It still has the "save $250!" savinigs on there. I don't think its one of those that are exempt, but who knows....whats the key to builing one for 40% off? Or should I just try for the 600 off 1499 ones? Thanks! cheapskate03
According to the coupon it's affiliate only, which I'm guessing means you have to follow the link in from an affiliate site, i.e. this one. The problem is when I click on any of the coupon links it says "Cannot find this page" and I can't actually get anywhere. I tried just going to Dell's site and using the coupon but the coupon doesn't take, and that's where you can see in the coupon details that it needs to be done through an affiliate. Does anyone know what settings I could check to enable me to follow the links?
Brad
you might have some kind of ad-blocker / anti-virus sofware that is blocking clicks to "linksynergy.com", "click.linksynergy.com", "linkshare.com", etc...
cheapskate03
I don't have any ad software running at the moment, I uninstalled Adaware and Spybot to see what to do about it. I've gone through the registry and tried cleaning out references to linksynergy but I think I'll try that again and see if that helps.

RossMAN
I just tested the 40% off coupon on several 700m and 6000 configurations, it does work on NON-REBATE MODELS. So don't select the 700m or 6000 on the far left. Any other system it should work just fine. Steven - What configuration are you looking at? RossMAN
Steven, When you're looking at all the 700m models side by side, only the far left system has a rebate.
geekgirldany
I'm going to tell my customer about this one tomorrow afternoon. She better just jump on this and get it if she wants one at this good of a price. I'm going with the config on the main page and adding a 2 year warranty. geekgirldany
I recommended the 700m because she is a missionary that travels alot. She wanted something that would be able to handle alot of work going on. Mostly Quickbooks, Act!, and office. She said she bought a 1200 lattitude and it was very slow. geekgirldany
Well she just called me back again to change her mind. Wants to wait on a lattitude. I told her I didn't think there were many coupons for them ususally.
