starbeck96
Last year, if I remember correctly, the secret sale showed on walmart's website around thursday or friday. Then it was good Saturday (of course the really good deals were gone by 9) The sales started at 8:00 that morning (at least at my local store). My friend and I got there as soon as they opened at 6:00 (ours is not 24 hours) and had to wait in the back of the store to get the items we wanted. It was such a secret that many of the employees wondered why there were people lined up waiting in the back of the store...lol.. I just wanted to let everyone know what my experience was last year. Hope this will help.

Klownicle
Depending on the model of blu ray player that looks like somthing I might be interested in if its profile 2.0. The laptop is "ok". But i'd expect this to be the best that walmart has to offer for a full laptop this year. The previous year the first week of secret sales had laptops. And every week and black friday didn't have one. That 52in Sharp would be nice if its a LCD with 1080
Cindyseattle
In case anyone was wondering what the specs of the Laptop are, I found them: HP G60-519WM Notebook: Intel Celeron 900 (2.2GHz, 1MB cache, 800MHz FSB) Windows 7 Home Premium 3072MB DDR2 System Memory 250GB(5400rpm) Hard Drive 802.11b/g WLAN LightScribe SuperMulti 8x DVD +-R/RW Drive w/Double Layer Support 15.6" Diagonal High-Definition HP BrightView display Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M with up to 1309MB total available memory 3 USB 2.0 Ports Not too shabby for a 3 g with a 250 and a good speed processor for $298..Walmart is right down the street from me.. amyers12345
yes, the xbox is $199 before the GC, so $99 after! You can use the GC to buy a hard drive and still have a good deal (the arcade does need a hard drive in order to play most games).
elicia423126
I wish the xbox deal was with the elite instead of the arcade. Still a good deal though.

I'd like to get the one "rumored" to be at OM for $400 but I might need one before BF.
KoopawnKode
It's decent enough but in today's price battles, it's not worth $298. $249 would be good. This week's WM sale has a $348 laptop with an AMD X2 Dual Core, 4GB DDR2 RAM, and a dedicated video card. It's in their ad. The BF deal is better than this $298 deal, but not much better than the $348 one. (IMO)
