  1. I tried to get the $19 printer for my senior in high school for next year.... it says it would be online. I waited up..... I guess you can only get them in store. [emoji849]
  2. PowerPress Multifunction Sublimation Heat Press Machine for T-Shirts, Mug,and Cap (5 IN 1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071L96PFH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_4p.6zbBVGRZ4P This is a Sublimation Heat Press. I think that this is invaluable for cheer moms, like myself, that make bows and shirts, but can't possibly press down hard enough with an iron to get it to stick. I think any crafty person would love this! Not onky that, but it does sublimation press, and that's just amazing! My shirts and bows and whatever else would look so much better! 3. My husband wanted a Super Nintendo, and put it on his Christmas list growing up for like 10 years or something (I hear the same story at Thanksgiving every year...). Anyway, I'm looking for the SNES Classic, and I can't find it anywhere except for places that want at least double what the price actually is. Does anyone think they will release more by BF? Poor guy
  4. I got both daughters brand new kindle fires for... 19.99 I believe a few months back when they had the prime day sale. Keep your eyes peeled, those deals are out there Sent from my SM-G930P using GottaDeal mobile app
  5. My side of the family has always been extravagant. I always woke up to 1/2 the living room covered. My husband's side would only do a few...... I always wanted the girls to have Christmases like I had..... now they're 11 and 9. We've scaled back a LOT the last few years. They would end up bored opening everything. Then, it would all go on their floors and broken or whatever before the week was out. My family would love the fact that the girls had such a "great Christmas" but for my husband and I (and our girls) it would be crazy stressful. Way over the top. No one needed that. Now the girls will get maybe 5 things individually, and then a few joint gifts. my husband and I just basically buy what we need and then put it under the tree (We just bought a house. there are several things we need) Once I got across to my family that we aren't going to be excessive anymore, things have *kinda* calmed down. But they were for sure sad about it. Things are just so much easier for our family of 4 when we don't overdo it. My husband's side of the family is fun. They're festive and we play games and enjoy each other. we have a small gift exchange, and my MIL would love all things homemade. She would rather people not even get her anything. We love going to her house on Christmas

We have one. His name is Mungle. However, my 11 year old is starting to question him (thanks, Pinterest.....and middle school) and is taking my 9 year old down with her.
  7. I'm so sorry!!!! My daughter (age 9) is allergic to sesame. While it seems that it would be easy to avoid, it's actually used in everything from cosmetics to pastas to vegetable oil. It's even used in soaps that companies use to clean their lines. Our allergist didn't want to test her for any other foods at this time. Her blood test was positive, her skin test was a 4 (scale of 1-4) and she had a positive food challange pretty quickly. She is also allergic to all trees except pecan, all weeds, all grass, 1/2 molds. Not allergic to animals (thankfully!!!!) I've found some groups on Facebook that are helpful. Also, General Mills and Kraft label for top 8 (plus sesame, which is good for me). All items in the top 8 in the US are supposed to be labeled. I completely understand the overwhelming nature of this. We found out about a month ago. I am slowing trying to switch over to a more fresh foods household, and my go to brands are now Kraft and General mills. I've even started making homemade sourdough bread. Since sesame isn't a top 8, it doesn't have to be labeled, and some companies won't even tell you if it's even in the facility Family gatherings are going to be super stressful. Even chex mix can have sesame sticks in it. We always have epipens and liquid benedryl by our side. I wish I could help more, but I just want to let you know you're not alone! I honestly have no idea what we are going to do yet for Thanksgiving........ ugh
  8. There are very specific things that I'm looking for this year, and haven't seen them yet in the ads. Then again, most of the ads aren't for stores in my area anyway. That's ok, though. Some ads are and so I'm able to find things that I didn't even know I was looking for.
  9. So funny, as I was just coming on here to ask this same exact question!!! My 10 year old is in 5th grade, and is in Gifted and Talented. When she moves to middle school next fall, she will be in a kind of pre-pre-ap classes, and will also be in a technologically based GT class where they work with kids around the world to solve problems. Our Middle and High schools have adopted a BYOE (bring your own electronics) for classes, and they suggest ipads or laptops. I want to go with a laptop because of the functions available. I don't need over the top, something that can get online, print, etc. She does a lot of homework from our desktop, but she will need something of her own next year. Since she will have to take it to school, it will have to be portable.
  10. Honestly, I don't think so. Last year was the first year the girls were SUPER into AG, and I waited and waited and waited for something on BF or CM to show up with free shipping. The only time I saw a good deal was when something on the Today show had an awesome deal. Of course, I missed out because I had my TV paused. LOL. I do think that as Christmas got closer I remember seeing something about free shipping.
  11. I have already purchased 2 Rainbow looms for my 2 daughters (they are 8 and 10). They are both competitive cheerleaders, and I snag up as much "Purple, black and white" bands that I can so they can make teammates bracelets. It hasn't really hit our area yet, but I bet by Christmas, it will. I'm getting in now before they get hard to find. My 8 year old LOVES Lalaloopsys. My 10 year old is getting harder and harder to buy for. I'm thinking they'll each get a TV for their rooms (to replace the big old-school tv that's in one of their rooms right now), and a Ruku or something?!? IDK. Honestly, each year it gets harder and harder. My 10 year old would probably love iTunes gift cards and a laptop?!? really, I have no ideas!
  12. We got to Walmart about 7pm for the 8pm sale. We got a Udraw for $10. Left and went to Target where we were wrapped around the back of the store. A security guard was counting us at one point, and we were 89th in line. Got a 32 in TV, towels, games, video games, and left paying just under $267.00. We wanted the iPod touch 4th generation deal, but didn't feel like standing in line for it. The line for checkout was wrapped from the checkouts, all the way around the store, to the actual part where you could check out. I honestly think I spent less time in that line that I do on a normal Tuesday at Walmart, lol. Went to Rue 21 and Old Navy. Lines were too long, and after watching for a moment, it didn't really look like any of them were moving. We left to go get something to eat and bring our big purchases home. While eating, I ordered my oldest daughter a used iPhone 4s from Sprint for $45. Left McDonalds, went to Target where it was DEAD, walked right up to the electronics counter and got our iPod Touch deal that we wanted earlier. Went to best buy (but I was OVER it by now.... it was 1:00am at this point). We didn't get anything from Best Buy, so we went to Walmart to get the pet beds (which, our walmart only had the small ones, not the bigger ones) and we found the last Forenza Horizon game (or whatever it's called). The ad had it for $15, normally a $59 game. We got that and came home. I was in bed with my feet up by 2:30.
  13. In the Walmart ad, Forza Horizon is $15 at Walmart for the xbox 360. We got the last one at our Walmart. Didn't feel like standing in line for the craziness, and so we did other shopping at other stores, came back and there was one more left. It rang up $15, originally $59.99. It's probably the best score from yesterday.... or today?!? lol
  14. Ugh. I remember when I worked retail, I would have to go to bed at like 3pm in order to be awake at and work by 11pm for a midnight opening and a 12 hour shift (at 9 weeks pregnant). I think that retail workers miss Thanksgiving regardless. They're either having to go to work, or having to go to sleep
  15. I can still get away with clothes...... but for how long?!? At least I can buy clothes for dolls, LOL!!! They both do competitive cheer, and so toys are "lame" now. They want electronics, and honestly, even when playing with toys, they're cheering with them! LOL! I can get away with Legos, they still play with those. sometimes, lol
  16. for me, I think that my disappointment in the ads is coming from the fact that I used to scour the ads for toys. This year, my kids have reached an age where they don't really play with toys all that much anymore And since American Girl Doll (they've never had one, but will this year) doesn't mark down their dolls...... I have to look through the ads again. Not as a sad mommy whose kids are growing up, but as a mom who is looking for older kid stuff.....
  17. Ahh! I keep trying to "like" ya'll's posts! HA! Come on Target!!!
  18. Thanks That's what I figured!! I've thought about getting her the iPhone, and then switching phones, but then my husband pouts because he doesn't get a phone, LOL!
  19. So, since I just renewed my sprint contract in Feb, I probably can't get the $50 SIII? We are looking to add our oldest daughter to our plan so she will leave my phone alone. I have an HTC Evo 3D that hasn't worked right in about 3 months (even though it's not even a year old) and I would love to get this one for me, too! LOL!
  20. As I look at the list of what is predicted to be hot toys, I realize that my girls have pretty much outgrown all of them sigh....
  21. I have quite a bit of Christmas Shopping done already! This year, we are doing quality over quantity. Honestly, my kids have more than any.one.person.ever.needs. Christmas's growing up for me were always very extravagant. Not necessarily any one thing being expensive, but just LOTS of stuff. This year, my girls are getting some of the girl legos (the actual house and vet center), American girl dolls, digital camera, and perhaps a new Fire. That's pretty much IT! I love their faces for the few minutes while opening everything, but then we have 364 days of fighting about stuff not being taken care of, of being all over the floor, of not being kept picked up! So, less is more
  22. This was horrible! Stood there forever to get it, and gave it to my parents as a gift. after about 60 days, it completely died. It had only been used maybe 4 times. At least Walmart allowed them to return it, and they got a better one...
