If she likes to read, there's no such thing as too many books. Maybe you can make up a gift certificate booklet for her, such as "this ticket good for a ride to....." "good for 2 hours of....."? Or, maybe she'd like her room redone to a certain theme? Sorry, I don't really have any ideas. All the teenagers I know are either crafty or heavy into music and videogames.

That's so sweet :) I agree, set a price limit and take him shopping. He knows her, so he'll know what she likes, you won't have to pick the gift out-- but retain veto rights. On a side note, you may want to doublecheck with her mom if he chooses lipsmackers or any other kind of cosmetic or lotion-y type gift, especially those sold in sets this time of year, for food allergies. If she has any allergies at all, best he choose something else.

Gremlins! Seriously, it's a Christmas movie My husband really likes Jingle All The Way, and A Christmas Story. My munchkin loves The Grinch (both versions) and A Nightmare Before Christmas. My 4 yr. old wants a vsmile soooo bad. His best friend has one and she taught him how to play it. Walmart is supposed to have them for $30 as a doorbuster, which nearly $20.00 cheaper than the regular price. Radioshack is supposed to have them for $35.00 and games for $14.99, but you may want to look around because I don't think I got that info from this website. I don't know anything at all about Leapster, but other leapfrog toys we've had were good quality. Good luck, whichever you choose!
