  1. It was 90% off in Delran, NJ store, and they had a good amount of stuff left...trees, lots of cards and ornaments, gift tags, stockings, various other little trinkets. Also scored some men's xmas boxers for 79 cents and some baby xmas pjs and slippers for 79 cents and 59 cents. Contemplating checking out Mt. Laurel and Cherry Hill stores...anyone been there? ANything left?

    Thanks for the update!

I'm heading out to the Delran store now.

Was at the Mount Laurel store and Cherry Hill store earlier in the week and neither had much of anything left.

Don't know if they had any stuff in the back that they pulled out, but they were already setting up for the next sale of cleaning and bath supplies.

  2. I was at voorhees the other day. Either of you been to Cherry Hill - what's their stock like?

Was there on Monday. Got a few of those seasonal gifts for $2.50 each (usually found on an endcap, red box, in the $5.00 - $20.00 regular price range).

Nothing really great though. They were pretty much cleared out.

Don't know if they brought out any additional items since then.

Today the Mount Laurel store was setting up cleaning supplies and bathroom items in seasonal area.

  3. I went to Target today. I was disappointed that the Christmas clearance was not 90% off, as last year, on Jan. 1., it was. I went to the Marlton, NJ store. There were aisles of stuff there. Then I went to the Voorhees store, hoping it was 90%, but no such luck. Both stores were still 75%. Very little Christmas items left there. I did get a Rival 18 qt. electric roaster pan marked down from $40.00 to $10.00. (Not that I needed one.) The clerk said they had overstocked them. I'm going back tomorrow to see if 90% clearance has come. Last year, it was already 90%.

    Hey! I'm in Mount Laurel!

Was at the Target in Centerton Square this morning and they were picked clean.

Got the last five Goldfish boxes (92 cents each), ten 3 packs lip balm in Gingerbread, Peppermint, and Vanilla flavors (74 cents each) Command hooks ($1.24), and a few other items 75% off at the dollar spot.

I may have to hit the Marlton store tomorrow!

  4. For your own sanity, make sure you do not open the box if you are returning the item!!

Our Walmart was horrible when we had to return a Guitar Hero World Tour set.

My son bought it on the 26th. Got home, set it up, and found something wrong with the guitar.

Everything was repackaged, had the original sale receipt, and yesterday (31st) he brought the entire system back to the store.

Well, apparently once a system like that is opened, (even if you have all the paperwork, packaging pieces, etc.) it cannot be returned to the place of purchase!

You have to contact the manufacturer and deal with them!

Inside the box was a yellow slip of paper giving you that info, (which he never even noticed) but nothing was ever said to him at the time of purchase, it's not printed on the outside of the box and no where does it state that in the store.

So, unless you opened the box and found the yellow slip of paper telling you all of that, how would you know?

You have to open the box to find out, yet once the box is opened you can't return it to the store!

    Just crazy, I tell you!

  5. Imagine my surprise when I turned on Fox News this morning and they were showing a reporter standing outside the LNT by me.

He was saying that the store closed its doors last night!

They were hoping to last until the holidays, but things had gotten so bad they just closed.

Things are tough all over. Very sad..........

  6. Placed an order for a gift subscription in November. My niece never got the magazine.

After several unanswered emails, I filed a complaint with the BBB.

They (BBB) sent me an email the other day stating that the mail they sent to the business (Wholesale Magazine Subscriptions) was returned as "Undeliverable"

or they are no longer in business.

My cc was charged $36.00 back in November. On the cc statement the charge is under Codara Creative.

I sent the BBB additional info and am waiting to hear back.

If you placed an order with this company and have not yet received your subscription, please file a complaint with the BBB.

  7. If you get all the way to the end, right before you put in your CC info, click on the item you chose as the special offer so you can see the description.

It will bring you back to see the item and then you can go through most of the process again and get another "special offer" added to your cart.

I did this and it allowed me to get 2 of the Snowmen 3 Way Tins for $14.99 each ($29.98) plus the shipping charge of $4.99 for each ($9.98) for a grand total of $39.96 out of pocket.

Now if we could only find a free shipping code!
