Has anyone else seen the HSM dolls for 4.98? I have been watching them forever and keep passing on them because there were soooo many left at 50%. I thought toy markdowns were on Wednesday so I am hoping that since yesterday they have not gone down in price and I missed out.
any idea if the hannah or miley & jake dolls have been marked down? dying to find one at 7XX
I thought Wed was toy day too, but when I went on Thurs, the toy department had 5-6 employees marking down. They said they have no warning or schedule as to when the markdowns will happen.

Seems surprising how in about a minute they'd be sold out. Perhaps they had a pre-sale or something. But I know what'cha mean. There's scalping software out there that lets you get around that word image thing, among other ways to snatch hundreds of tickets in a very short amount of time. Seems incredibly unfair to us little people who just want a single ticket to one show.
i had this issue before...
really it boils down to a couple of things... per ticketmaster, i have been told that they open up a certain amount of certain seats for the presale, for the regular sale, and later in the sale. meaning that pre sale does not mean better tickets supposedly.
there are also people out there who create programs to get around the captchas and limits.

On the can caps, you get all 3. All three of the colors shown. I believe it's one red, one yellow and one blue? I called them yesterday and asked about the quantity since I wanted to order those also but didn't want to just order one and then just get one cap. But they said it's a quantity of 3. I ordered 2 sets.

I'm not sure about that. Have you already ordered once using that promo code and then try to use it again? Or did you put stuff in the cart and then wait for a while and go back to it and then they aren't showing up?
none of the pictures for any items in my cart of any items in various sections (household, sale, etc) were showing up. they are today though

Yesterday at the Surprise Target we found a set of the Cars toy bins for $9.98. I was so excited to get it (and shocked that it was still there) as it was a return from the night before. I was tipped off by my friend that she had returned it since she paid $27.xx and had found a cheaper set. I send DH in at about 1:00pm and luckily it had not been sold. At another Target I found 6 of the MM 10 pack apple juice boxes
, Crayola Color Wonder posters for $2.48 (reg $4.99) and Tinkerbell wrapping paper for $1.48 (reg $2.99).On Saturday I found a king size bed in a bag at 75% off for $37.xx reg $149.99 (it is black & tan, with hints of gold) but it's going back as DH didn't think it went well with our canopy bed. I ended up getting the $55 8 piece chocolate brown & blue bedding set in yesterday's ad instead and it looks awesome one the bed. Had to hit 3 different Targets just to find on in stock.

this is a bit OT, but if anyone is still looking for the Easy Link extra keys to go with their Target clearance system, I just saw the Clifford/Arthur sets for $1 at Walmart (this is mentioned elsewhere on GD). On the other hand, if you were able to get keys but not the system, they also have the full Disney Special Edition Easy link system (includes 3 characters) for $9.00 (Walmart exclusive). I'm still mad I passed up several sets of 75% off characters at Target before I knew that I'd get the system, but at least now I have some variety...
just an fyi- the disney links cannot be purchased separately from the system according to fisher price.
does anyone have the info for the 10" dvd player from last weeks ad? i got a raincheck, and am now trying to contemplate between the one on sale this week, the one i have the raincheck for, and the one on clearance.

i rarey go to walmart, so i dont know if it was just picked thru, or was just dropped, but my walmart had about an isle of toys. the best deal i found was a mommy and me potty set- small beanie baby sized doll, wall chart, bracelt to wear that reminds you to go potty, etc for 5.00. it said regular price was 40. most of the things i saw ranged from anywhere 30-90 percent off.

i complained to them about this, and they gave me a form response that said sorry, this happens from time to time. i emailed back, stating, no, it happens almost every time i try to order, i can guarentee it has happened to me on more than 20 separate attempts to order in the past two months, and has happened even when i had over 20 items in the cart (saying all are oos). they never responded.

my best buy ad said save ten dollars off any disney movie if you preorder enchanted, so if that movie interests you, it could be 6.99 at best buy.

I know someone mentioned something about the scrapbook stacks of paper on clearance the other day org. $9.99 my store had them 30% off yesterday. Do you think they went 50% off today?
they were 30% at one local store this weekend, and 50% at another that had a much larger quantity... i'd be surprised if they didn't soon.

I went crazy today. I went to 5 Targets and bought:
As I wipe the word stupid off of my forehead, I said call your manager, please, I would like to speak to him. He tells the head cashier to handle it. So she gets involved - not my first run in with her over NOF items - and says that she has to charge me what it's ringing up. I said to her, if it was ringing up that would be fine, but that it isn't. It's NOF because it was clearance. She said, no she called toys and that's the number that they gave her. I asked for the manager again. FINALLY he comes up and we go through the whole scenario again. "I have to charge what it's ringing up, I don't undertand what your issue is." to which I reply, if it were ringing up, I wouldn't have a problem with that, but as I explained to both the cashier and the supervisor, it is NOF. It is a different item than the one that the toys associate gave her the number for. He looked directly at the supervisor and says, "WELL, nobody told me that it was NOF." No they didn't because several months ago I purchased some color wonder things that were NOF and they told me that I couldn't have them and when I called for a manager, the District Manager came up and said, "No, you always accomodate the guest." and ever since then I have nothing but attitude from both of them and they treat me like I'm a thief every time I'm in here.
In the end, I got the microscope for the clearance price but I am NOT happy about the way that cashier and the supervisor talk to me.
