She will also be getting the 25 anniversary cabbage patch doll from Walmarts black friday ad (from grandma) and I'll be getting her "Sleeping Beauty" from TRUs black friday ad(From Mom and Dad).

my dd got this last year at 2.5 and still loves it.

i'd have to say her most played with gift from last year was microphone with stand.

this year, she is getting tons of art supplies and the vtech kids camera

  2. I haven't looked at the Target ad since early this a.m. but if it is the same kind of blanket that they had on last year for a great price, you won't be sorry.

I love it....so so so soft...like you are in heaven...:yup:

i second this... my 3 year old never carried aroudn a blankie, but i carry this one- it goes with me to teh couch for movies and to bed everynight. absolutely love it.

  3. One thing that should be considered, I think the items need to be bought either within ONE WEEK or the same week that the SALE price goes into effect. I think that people who had problems may have had them because they got over-zealous and bought their items too early. It might be confusing, but I BELIEVE (not 100% sure) that the policy is that the price has to change within a week of when you bought it. (So buy your item on the Sunday or Monday before Black Friday) But you have TWO WEEKS to get the actual adjustment. SO BE CAREFUL: Do NOT buy the item more than a week ahead of time, and to be safe, buy it the same week. (By the way, I bought the 37" Olevia HDTV using the price adjustment tips I learned on this website and had ZERO problems.)

this may soudn silly, but make sure the sale price is still active when you go to request the adjustment. you'd be surprised how many people i see at local stores who bought something within the time frame required for adjustment and then try to get the sale price saying i am within my two weeks, even though teh sale price is not active still

  4. Target here has toy books out. they also have the games piled up everywhere, such as elefun, hungy hippo, and the basics as always. sa well as cupcake decorator, legos tub sets, and cabbage patch dolls

was hungry hippos in there? i missed it i guess, but i never got a paper copy

  5. Our store today had the soap 3/$10....hmm

    Anyways I got:

3 $5 lotions (Dancing waters, Vanilla something that my daughter picked out and black amethyst)(all the regular lotion is $5)

    1 handcreme....black amethyst

    1 body splash black amethyst

    1 hand sanitizer foam

1 Evergreen fragrance room spray (free with any purchase of $15 or more)

1 bath gel(this was an even exchange though)

I had 1 coupon for $10 off any order of $30 or more, plus a free hand sanitizer coupon. I walked out of there only spending $23 total and received the $10 gift card(no minimum purchase) plus a couple more coupons.

I am glad I stopped in today. I was originally only going to exchange one of the bottles I ordered online because the top was broken. I can never get out of that place without spending $$ but I felt like I did pretty well!

mine wont let me use more than one coupon. and the gift card at my store was only given for a purchase of 30 or more.

  6. my store posted the soaps at 3/10. i asked about the 4/10, stating my email said online adn in store (okay, it said select stores, but i though, i can ask). they honored it. I got:

    12 soaps at 2.50 each

    2 lotions at 5.00 each.

used my 10/30 coupon, and got the gift card for 10 because i still spent 30. i had to ask about the gift card, but they had the sign up front large and clear. they told me, ooh, you got the last one, i'll have to take the sign down. but when i walked by later it was still up. i guess they didn't like my deals but they coul d have told me no to the 4/10 price.

  7. I buy from Children's Place and Old Navy. I buy for next season during the close out times. It saves a lot of money.

this is what i do, i also supliment with target or kohls sometimes.

but the buying ahead saves me.... i've got all of her clothes for next summer and some for next winter already. almost all at least 75 % off.

love gymboree, but i have a hard time justifying the price.
