  1. i've ordered twice- i agree you can sometimes get things cheaper at cvs/ walgreens, but i haven't ordered things that i already have in stash. and i figure that means that i still have my coupon for in store deals. i just think the free shipping/ not having to hunt for coupons makes it worth it to check everyonce in a while. both my orders shipped the next day and arrived 2-3 days after that. i'm fine with that because i would never order something online that i needed tomorrow, kwim.

my favorite deal was a pack of huggies diapers for 3.49.

  2. You are hilarious! I so totally understand the obsession. My garage is full of things i don't really have a use for. I am just holding them for GREAT birthday gifts that I got for a steal.

i buy this stuff because of the deal... then i decide that it is either too good or not good enough for whatever occasion (bday, cmas, whatever) and end up getting more at the next sale while i've been holding half of what i got the sale before.

  3. Def. Old Navy. That's where I bought all of my maternity clothes both pregnancies. I got it all on-line too. Just go to their clearance section and they usually have a ton there to pick from. And you can always return to their store if it doesn't fit, which is awesome.

i love old navy and traget maternity too.

right now, they are both having pretty good sales on clearance clothing

  4. Olive Branch is the closest store to her.

Hey Rach. Sorry I missed you this morning, darn job!!

Olive Branch didn't have anything at 75% today, Southaven had SOME, but not really a lot. I did get the Princess Barbies, a Didj Crammer, star wars laptop, doodle pro and a couple of other little things. Fortunately for me, my daughter has really outgrown the whole toys thing and I'm just picking up for friends and family. I think I'm going to hit up Cordova at lunch though and see what they have.

    thanks.

so it looks like colonial and olive branch are the only ones not coorporating righ tnow, although i have heard nothing on the one in germantown

my mom found quite a few leapfrog toys at cordova and quite a few barbies at wolfchase . both stores were mixed at 30-50-75

  5. I hit 3 Memphis area Targets this morning.

First Target, closest to my house. Toys still 30%, no markdown team in sight.

Second Target - Southaven, some toys 75%, some not. ALready marked, though, no markdown team activity. I did get the silver holiday barbie that my daughter wanted, the little mommy potty doll regularly $60, for $14.99, a couple of moon sand playsets ($3.xx), two Yo Gabba Gabba figures in little train cars, and a couple of 50 packs of playdoh to send to school for the "prize chest".. thats it though!

Third target (Colonial), nothing marked down, no activity in toys. ARGH. I might check back tonight, I dont know what is going on. This is making me insane! :eyepoppin:mad:

which one is the one "near your house"? trying to figure out which one to go to after work, i went to colonial too this morning.

  6. frustrating! i went to my closest target, the only one that i could feasibly go to before work, and no additional mark downs. of course, while i was there, i got reports of 3 other local stores who were all doing the 50 on some, 75 on others markdown. there were about 6 people there with me dissapointed, and they talked to friends and family who were at other targets

the people at my store played dumb, there was not a markdown team near

  7. does anyone know much about the birthday club- i signed up online months ago, but never recieved a coupon for my kids birthday. i'm not sure if i didn't do it early enough or what but cannot find anywhere online that says i am a member or anything like that and dont want to miss the next birthday too. any idea if it does show online anywhere? thanks
  8. I did a quick scan of some of the toy items at my smaller local target- my scarp paper was miniscule, adn i was in a hurry, so didn't do dcpi or prices, but hopefully will give someone an idea of things to watch for

    cranium cariboo

    diggity dog game

    little people learn about town

    vtech dancing tower

    speed racer car holder

    ponyville carrying case

    leapfrog fridge talk

    little tykes camcorder

    parents magnet school

disney cutie bugs (small plush tigger or pooh)

    tonka bounceback racer

    leapfrog sign along read along

    i teddy

    tinkerbell playset

    sleeping beauty doll

    wooden fire truck

  9. Toys do not look as promising this year. :(

It seems like they did not stock as much as in the past. Shelves looked pretty bare already! I'm burned out & need an idea list of what everyone is watching for.

Between Kmart double coupons & Target clearance it is hard to keep up. At least gas is no longer $4 gal. saves on all these trips.:)

i could use the list too. one thing i know locally is that hte noodleboro games have been 9.xx at 30% off

Thank you!! Do you remmember when they reduce prices on those?? They are at 30% now..is there a particular schedule they are following with these??

Also if I miss this sale do they also get reduced after Valentine's and/or Easter??

no, i'm not sure of a schedule... i just know that they seem to take WEEKS to finally mark them down further

  10. Went to 3rd Target at CT which was also 75%. So that's 2 at 75% and one at 90% (virtually nothing left at this one.) I didn't really need any Christmas stuff anyway (stocked up at 75% off & at Walmart.) Advent calendars were ringing up full price in all 3. Tried to price adjust them along with some Christmas books but they all looked at me like I had two heads. I don't know how you guys do it. I did find four sticker books next to electronics section in one Target for $1.99 down from $6.99. (I think that's 75% discount.) One was Winter something but the other one was Little Mermaid. I think their orig. price was off by one dollar but they were discounted to the same price so not sure what that was all about. I bought two and stashed the other two so I can hopefully get it at 90%. Also stashed some Bath gift sets in Target nearest to me. They were only at 30%. There were Cars, Tinker Bell, Spider Man, Curious George, Einsteins. I really want these as they will make awesome party favors for DS 2nd Birthday. Do you think those will go lower and to what percentage?

Ooh.. and I did find some toys in all 3 Targets that were at 50%.

i've bought those bath sets at 1.XX before- but at mine, they usually seem to only have a ton of one or two kinds left by the time they go 50% or lower

I have been every day for over a week doing recon in my store. I don't hide things personally, but I know other people do. So I spent about 3 hours yesterday searching the store aisle by aisle. This morning when things went 90%, I was at the door 10 minutes prior to opening and went straight for the things that I knew where were. I was pulling some things out of an outdoor garbage can and the manager walked up behind me and told me that she was going to have to ask me to leave. WHAT??? She said that they had found several of the things that I had hidden and they had been watching me and my friends (other Gottadealers... hey guys, you know who you are) and they knew what we were up to. She went on to tell me that she doesn't understand why when things are already 75% off that we feel that we need to hide them and get them even cheaper. She said that one of my friends said that she donates her stuff but the manager knows that she doesn't. Actually she does. Long story short... too late... I got my things this morning, but I was told that if I come back in the store, I will be arrested for trespass.

which store was this, if you dont mind my asking?

I'M NOT SURE I'VE EVER BEEN TO THE TARGET IN CORDOVA. I LOOKED IT UP ON MAPQUEST AND FOUND LOCATED OFF APPLING ROAD. MY SON USED TO TAKE VISION THERAPY ON APPLING AND WHILE HE WAS THERE I WOULD VENTURE TO A NEARBY TARGET, BUT THE WOLFCHASE MALL WAS ACROSS THE STREET. IS THAT THE SAME TARGET OR AM I OFF BASE? I'M NOT GOING TOMORROW, BUT I'D DEFINATELY LIKE TO HUNT IT OUT SOMETIME. HOPE YOU SCORE ON WHEREVER YOU GO. i'VE GOT TO RESTRAIN MYSELF IN ANTICIPATION OF THE TOY CLEARANCE. I'M REALLY GOING TO TRY AND NOT BUY ANY LARGE ITEMS AS THREE OF MY BOYS ARE PAST TOYS. I COULD BUY FOR THE THREE PRESCHOOLERS BUT THEY ALL RANGE WITHIN 1 YEAR APART SO THEY PLAY WITH BASICALLY THE SAME TOYS. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND SMALL GIFTS TO GIVE TO ISAAC'S SPECIAL ED. CLASS. HE HAS THE SWEETEST LITTLE CLASS AND THEY LOVE TO GET TREATS. IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO THRILL THEM. iF YOU GO TOMORROW LET US KNOW WHAT YOU FOUND.

the cordova target is on germantown road, near walnut grove. it is next to a walmart and there is a startbucks, at&t , etc in front.
