Some of the other things i saw: a lot of LCD TV's and regular TV's on clearance. They had a really nice 32 inch LCD HDTV on clearance for like $569 I think....looked like a good deal as it was over $300 off; They had Roomba Scoobas and some kind of tiny vaccuum sweeper; They had quite a few toys and baby toys on clearance; fireplace screens, rubbermaid clear 'spring' color buckets/..... If I remember any more i will post it later
  5. Just remember: when it is bad at Target it is GREAT on EBAY,,,,because the liquidators are putting their stuff up on EBay by that time. So, if there is a clearance item you missed, check out EBay, because chances are that it will be on there. So maybe you can fuel your bargain addiction by doing some EBay perusing. This week you will find a ton of housewares and slipcovers.
  6. Queen silk duvet cover for $15.48 (orig $119.99) Matching sham (4.98) Black 2 pc slipcovers for chair, loveseat, sofa = approx $65 for all 3 pieces
  7. Orange Park FL store: Got a waverly sofa slipcover, matching loveseat slipcover, and matching tablecloth (can make curtains or decor out of it, or cover pillows or cover and ottoman with the fabric) for $51.00. Slapped those puppies right up on ebay as one big set! hopefully someone will buy the set! Got a craft table/desk type thing for $14.98 (orig $59.99) A plastic storage box made for medicines to keep them organized---boy does my mom need this!!!! She has all her meds in an ice bucket just throwed in there... it was $4.98. Still some fireplace screens there, a lot of Pirates of the Carribbean toys and decor, and they had a rice cooker, 2 coffee makers, and one 4 slice toaster all for 50% off... I left all of those as I do not need them.
  8. A few things to keep an eye out for (I was in a hurry and did not get the numbers): SCOOBA = 30% off, was still over $200 though; 24 inch RCA TV/DVD combo 30% off; a fire pit for $69.99 A Pioneer car stereo, marked down to about $105 from about $149; also speakers; I apologize for not getting more info ...
  9. The disney mix max clips are full length versions of the actual movies. The guy at target told me that the mp3 music part of it will allow download of any mp3's. But he said the video part needed the disney mix max clips... not sure whether he is right or not. But according to a reviewer at site pdsasnews.com, it sounds like it will play downloaded videos: "The company known for an overgrown mouse is set to release the Mix Max portable digital media player onto the world, and while it has no trouble playing full-length movies and TV shows, it only costs $99. Not too shabby for an excellent Christmas gift (yes, it's that time of year again… already). You can take the conventional route, downloading content onto your computer and then sending it to the player, or alternatively, you can purchase Disney Mix Max Clips. These are SD/MMC cards that come preloaded with content, including movies, music videos, music, and more. Key specs include a 2.2-inch color display, 512MB of internal memory, SD/MMC expansion, and a 220 x 176 resolution at 30fps. The expected launch is next month."via mobilemag.com"
  10. okay, the choxie bar coupons have not interested me thus far, and I have not yet printed out ANY Target coupons. But just for the heck of it (after reading the Target employees gripes), I am gonna print out every one I can find tomorrow and try to redeem every single one. I'm gonna have me some fun .... To be fair, though, I do think some people do find it a sport to see how much free or nearly-free stuff they can get. Maybe they are reselling or donating, I don't know... but aside from donations or reselling it seems like an unhealthy behavior to me.... I picture overweight Choxie eating folks with bathroom cabinets stocked from top to bottom with shaving creams ....maybe not, but that is the image I conjure. But some of the vile comments and language over there make me want to be a redeemer,,,,a coupon redeemer, that is. I know the Target site is for venting, but I just hope they realize that people in almost EVERY profession have to deal with the annoying customer here and there. I am in insurance, so believe me, I have heard everything from 'the insurance company killed my father' to 'insurance is the cause of global warming'. ..... But I value my company and employment enough not to go putting it out there for all to see on a website....
  11. The ad says "Each title shown and selected others". The six mentioned above were the titles shown.
  12. Target has the following DVD sets on sale this week for $17.99: Firefly (My favorite series, EVER), Seinfeld, season 4 The Office, season 1 24, season 1 Weeds, season 1 That 70's show (not sure what season because my newspaper ripped in that very spot)
  13. Go to the front page of this website or the coupons section of this website,,,there is nearly always a link listed there for 10% off online purchases. Not sure about B&M coupons though.
  14. heaters- 75% , one for $8.98 and another $12.98 Slipcovers 75%: loveseat $24.98, sofa $34.98 DYR light= $7.48 Football and basketball, $4.48 each
  15. not too many good finds at orange park fl, cr 220 store. Quite a few domestics 30-50 percent off. I got a green roman shade for 75% off, $6.48. a picture frame which was 90%off at $1.48. quite a few Almay clearance make up items... there were $1 off coupons stuck to them, so I got blush for $1.12, lipstick for $.48 and some eyeshadow. Lots of other make up on clearance too that I did not get of all brands.
  16. The clearanced one was 072-01-0137. Now, other rants: Supershopper1: you suck!!! just kidding! That $17.48 fireplace pit deal is AWESOME!!! Lucky, shopper, you! Stores not taking more than one coupon per person: you suck! What the friggin' difference is it if Tom, Dick, Harry, Jane, Bobby, Billy, and Brittany each come in and buy one candy bar with one coupon each, than if Fergie comes into the store and buys 7 with 7 coupons???? There are still 7 candy bars getting sold and 7 coupons. Do they REALLY think more people will come to Target just so they could use ONE coupon for ONE candy bar? If so, they need some better marketing managers .... On to what I bought this weekend.... I was out of town but still could not resist Target so I scoped out the Target in Palm Beach Gardens FL. I found: Queen purple teen's sheets for $9.98; A GB large ceramic vase with flowers $7.50 PSP game, Medievilers or something: $9.98 some acrylic plates, bowls, saucers,,,from like .98 to 1.25 each They also had that Sonia makeup and some Loreal and other brands 50% off,,,but they were not on the endcaps. Also a lot of hair products clearanced.
  17. oh,,,,but you WILL! If you are like me, you will tell yourself that for about an hour or two.... then you will start thinking of another reason to go out (need milk, have an errand at the post office, etc), then you will go and decide that it would not HURT just to go peruse Target for a few minutes JUST TO LOOK.... And then 2 hours later, you walk out of Target with a buggy full of clearance stuff that you may or may not need for $32.79 that would have originally cost $212.58. so, save yourself the stress and just go ....
  18. Do all three offer discounted gas and propane? That is where I get most of my savings at BJ's.
  19. LOL! They recently reset the aisles at my Target and put the dishwashing stuff and those dadgum snowman cascade tubs right by a scanner... I felt like hugging a Target clerk, because they must've felt our pain of lugging those tubs 4 aisles over to the scanner and lugging them back.....
  20. There are some nice ones on Amazon that ship free: 20 ft x 10 ft (sleeps 11,3rooms with breezeway) for $140.43: http://www.amazon.com/Wenger-Appenzell-11-Person-Three-Room-Breezeway/dp/B000EJNGXU/sr=8-9/qid=1171852618/ref=pd_bbs_9/104-9168832-2503109?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods 9 ft by 9 ft (4 person, dome) for $58.38: http://www.amazon.com/Swiss-Gear-Kandersteg-9-Foot-Four-Person/dp/B000EJR0AU/sr=8-12/qid=1171852618/ref=pd_bbs_sr_12/104-9168832-2503109?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods 14 ft by 7 ft (6 person dome tent) $79.99: http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-Montana-6-Person-Dome-Tent/dp/B0009PURPO/sr=1-21/qid=1171852810/ref=sr_1_21/104-9168832-2503109?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods And a few more: 5 person, $81.61: http://www.amazon.com/Swiss-Gear-Kandersteg-12-Foot-Five-Person/dp/B000EMDAKG/sr=1-25/qid=1171852963/ref=sr_1_25/104-9168832-2503109?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods 7 person, $73.15: http://www.amazon.com/Wenzel-Piney-Room-8-Foot-Family/dp/B000HBXHGG/sr=1-26/qid=1171852963/ref=sr_1_26/104-9168832-2503109?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods There are many more on Amazon and the ones sold directly by Amazon ship free if over $25. You may have just missed the Target camping sales,,,,most of their stuff is gone now,,,but I personally got an 11x14 screen house for $24.98 (was $99.99), a lantern (was $39.99, for $9.98), and a sunshade/gazebo thing for $7.98 (was $79.99). I've heard reports of nicer tents being sold for anywhere from $17 to $60 depending on the size. Also, sleeping bags were like $9 to $20. But I think most of the Target camping equipment clearanced out about a month ago. Target seems to be on a pretty much 6 month cycle, so I would expect their current camping equipment to go on clearance probably in July or August.
  21. LOL!!!! It is comforting to know I am not the ONLY one! My first thought almost every morning is if I can get away to go to Target after work. And then my second thought is how can I scrounge up a few dollars for perusing.... and then my third thought is where on earth will I hide all my packages??? Goodness, I did not start shopping on line or doing serious shopping until right before Thanksgiving when I started using this site for Black Friday info. And then I found this Target thread. My life has been a mess since. A thrilling and exciting mess, but a broke mess nonetheless. We need a 12 step program thread. Back to topic,,,yes,,, I DID find time to go to Target today, finally after the kids birthday party and the in-laws departure. But all I scored was the $.69 juice boxes. But I was soooo happy! I finally got those dadgummed juice boxes!!! It has been like a scavenger hunt this last month trying to find them. And I knew I was truly sick and addicted when I felt like shouting for delight that these silly juice boxes scanned at $.69......
  22. The Amazon reviews ARE awful,,,,, but other sites rate this higher,,,go figure. See also: http://www.photographyblog.com/index.php/weblog/comments/samsung_s800_samsung_s600_and_samsung_s500/ http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Customer-reviews-for-Samsung-Digimax-S800-Digital-Camera/sem/rpsm/oid/159943/rpem/ccd/productDetailReview.do#tabs Some sample pics are here (and they appear as sharp as the S700 pictures that I take): http://www.samsungcamera.co.uk/product/pro_view.asp?prol_uid=1212&cat_uid=11&tabmenu=3#tabs The camera rates real low on battery life but that is easily fixable by using high quality/high capacity rechargeables. Also, one guy said that it won't take more than a 1 Gig SD card, not true. One person said they could only take 1 5-MP picture with a 256 SD card... not sure what that person is doing, but I get about 50-70 pics just on the 16 MB of internal memory in the camera. So, I truly don't know what is up with these Amazon reviews or whether Amazon is just selling the defective Samsungs.
  23. I did not add a link, because I could not figure out whether it would like to 'my account' or not, and I could not figure out how to 'log out' of Amazon to link from there directly. But the price appears to be only for the silver model of this camera: Samsung Digimax S800 8.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Silver) List Price: $299.99 Price: $99.94 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping. Details You Save: $200.05 (67%) ************************** I bought the S700 7.2mp model in November at Circuit City for what I thought was the unbelieveable price of $119. And I just LOVE my camera! It takes such nice, clear pictures. I can also take a picture in TOTAL darkness where I could not see anything, and it comes out looking just as if the lights are on. The shutter speed is nice also,,,not a long delay between pics. My camera also has a lot of features, like being able to add borders and stuff right on the camera. It will also take movie clips, the length depending on the size of my SD cards that I bought separately. The size is small and lightweight, but the image picture is large, like 2.4 inches or something. I don't know about the S800 model, but the S700 that I have is wonderful! Also, the S700 just came out last spring or summer, so I am sure the S800 came out later. I am not sure about those Amazon reviews... unless the S800 is TOTALLY different than the S700 model, I have not experienced those type problems. I do not hear extraordinary digital 'noise', my camera has not turned off or on when I did not want it to, and my camera is guaranteed to accept at LEAST a 2 GB SD memory card. People on other sites complain about low battery life.... well,,,, duh... get high Mah rechargeables... don't bother with the regular AA's they include with the camera. Mine has taken over 200 pics and a couple of short videos on one charge. The only downfall that I've found is that a tripod is almost a 'must' to take night or slow shuttered pictures. The S700 camera is really sensitive to 'hand shake'. I assume it would be the same with the S800. For more 'professional' photography, this may not be the camera for a serious photographer. But for someone who wants a nice, inexpensive camera that takes clear pictures and is fairly easy to use, then this is a good buy. So, I suggest that you read other reviews in addition to Amazon's to see if this might or might not be the camera for you.
