Good idea. I have a RedCard but never thought about buying the gift cards at 5% off and stacking them with BF prices at other retailers. I love it.

It is rare for me to run into a rude shopper on Black Friday. I find that most people who are out, are there because they love the madness. On occasion I'll hear someone complaining about something and I just laugh because really, if they don't like the business of BF, they should have stayed home, so I figure they did it to themselves.

So excited for another Black Friday. I ordered one of the Gotta Deal.com sweatshirts last year and it was a bit late getting to me but I'm really excited to be able to wear it this year when I go out shopping. Several people commented on the saying on the back of it, "if I'm in front of you, I probably got your door buster," when I wore it during the holidays.

Every year there are certain items that are hotter than hot. Most often it is TVs of some sort and video gaming systems or a new toy out. What is hot on your shopping list this year?

I ordered a shirt from Represent and today is Tuesday the 25th and it still has not arrived. What do we do if the shirt does not arrive in time for BF? They are kinda useless if you can't wear them on BF. I have emailed Represent twice. Does anyone have a phone number for them?

I ordered a hoodie through Represent. My tracking number says a shipping label was created on Nov. 4th but the tracking number still does not indicate that it has shipped and I have not received it. My bank account was charged two weeks ago. I really want the hoodie in time for Black Friday shopping but I'm getting really worried. How can I find out where it is? Please help Brad! I am still waiting on mine too. I'm very worried that they won't come in time for Black Friday,

Prices on a few board games are pretty good but basically Toy's R Us could have save a lot of printing cost by doing a one page flyer that says everything is 50% off with a few things 50% off plus $1. Nothing to say "WOW" about.

Nobody posts Black Friday ads better than Gottadeal.com. I look forward to these posts and they get me excited for the season as soon as the first one (usually Harbor Freight) posts. Thanks Brad! Does anyone know when the Gottadeal shirts that we pre-ordered will be shipped?

I have found that I can go to Kohl's several hours after they open and still get the great deals and avoid the long lines. They do a nice job in my area of stocking enough of their sale items that they do not run out. I used to go to them early and wait in the enormously long lines but they stock much higher quantities than Target and Walmart so I wait about 3-4 hours after they open and still get everything I want.

People who don't like crowds. Why go out on BF when you clearly can't handle a crowd of people. Stay home on BF unless you are prepared to be patient, stand in line, and wait in traffic because that is the essence of BF. You have to understand that before you ever step out on BF.

I get so excited each year when I get that first email from GD.com that ads are starting to get posted. I love this site. I use it exclusively to organize my plans for shopping on Black Friday. I make lists based on the store hours that GD posts for the stores I want to go to and I print all the ad scans and create a three ring binder with them that goes with me from store to store on BF. I also use the for forums to find out how others like to shop on black Friday and what has worked for them in the past. I honestly cannot complain about a single thing on this site. I love it. Keep up the great work GD.com! You Rock!

I am AGAINST it. I have been an avid BF shopper for 18 years. I go out every year and the fun of it is going to bed on Thanksgiving night knowing that you are getting up early while its still dark and heading out to shop on FRIDAY. That's why its called black FRIDAY not Black Thanksgiving Thursday. I miss the 5am start times on Friday. Retailers just want to extend the times in hopes of extending their profits. Why not have a separate sale on Thanksgiving if they choose to do so but keep Black Friday as Black Friday. However, I am a realist and I know that now that the retailers have gotten it started, it will never go back.

My Walmart in WV just told me that their maps are coming out Tuesday, the 26th. He said that just today everythign about the placement of items changed and the maps won't be complete until then.

I just called our local Walmart in WV and found out that when they hand out the wristbands, they will hand out as many as they have quantity in stock for the sale and once the bands are gone, the product is gone. So, if the sale starts at 6pm, they are setting up the cue line at 3pm and beginning to hand out the wrist bands at 3pm. This means that the 6pm sale is really at 3pm if I want the big ticket items. I don't like this at all. The concept is nice that I don't have to stay in line but since they are giving the bands out so early, I will have to be there at 3pm and then stay in the store for 3 hours before I can get the item or go back between 6pm and 8pm to collect my item. urggg. There goes Thanksgiving completely. And I thought it was bad when it was 6pm. Does anyone else see the madness in this?

5am FRIDAY is still my choice for true BLACK FRIDAY!
