OK guys, this is the week when we should see some big ad leaks. I'm getting really excited. Hoping some come out today and turn this normal Monday into an exciting one. And with election day tomorrow, it would be nice to have more to talk about than the election.

I am hoping for a great deal on xbox Live this year. Anyone hear of one coming?

I agree. 3pm on Thanksgiving Day is rude and thoughtless to their employees and shoppers. But, I bet they won't be the only one. I really miss the days when Black Friday started at 3 or 4am on Friday mornings. Those were the most enjoyable BF''s I can remember.

Aw I had not heard about this until just now. My stores in Southern WV are still doing it but it sounds like they will all quit eventually. I wonder if it has to do with their Savings Catcher ap that they now offer. I've been using it for a few years now it does the price matching work for you. Those of you who live in areas that don't PM anymore, are you still able to use the Savings catcher ap to PM?

When I first started BF shopping back when sales started at 6am on Friday morning, I went to Value City and stood in line in freezing temperatures to be one of the first 100 shoppers in the door to get a $20.00 cash certificate. My Mom and I were numbers 100 and 101. So mom got the $20 cash and I got an extra 20% off certificate which turned out to be a better deal because I bought so much that day. That wasn't first by any means but one of my most memorable BFs. I was third in line at Walmart for a portable TV for the car several years ago and that turned out to be a scary thing. When they cut the bubble wrap of the pallet, a large guy about 4 people behind me jumped forward and smashed me and others into our shopping carts.

Does anyone know if there will be hoover boards for a good price this year and will they even be a hot item given all the ones that have caught fire?

very confused here. I've been on Kohls.com several times today and I do not see any of their BF prices showing. I only see sale prices but they are more than what is listed in their BF ad. Please help.

As a home owner, I normally love to shop at Lowes and Home Depot throughout the year but on Black Friday, I don't think I'll be stopping here. Spending my money on gifts rather than my house.

I've been reading in this thread that BB drops their prices all night long slowly. Does this mean that one item for instance will get cheaper and cheaper as the night goes on or does it mean that some items will be on sale then another item goes on sale and etc. Someone please explain for me.

Finally. An ad to get excited about. Best Buy has some really great deals in their ad this year. I have not typically put them at the top of list to stop at but they certainly will be this year. WOO WHOOO. Getting pretty excited to shop now.

The stores keep opening earlier because of all of us die hard BF shoppers who keep chasing the door buster sales. I hate that BF is no longer. Its more of a black Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving night sale for us. By the time Friday morning comes around, I have either ran out of money or ran out of steam to keep going and I am a die hard BF shopper but after 15 plus hours on my feet shopping, even I give out. shew. And, I just got my son's indoor soccer schedule and he has a game at 10pm on Black Friday. The nerve of these people. LOL Don't know how I"ll stay awake until then. It's going to be a challenge.

We have dollar stores here but never heard of Five Below. Love many of the items in this ad. I'm wondering though if the name of the store is five below and most of their items are $5 on BF, is this really any cheaper than any other day? At any rate, some great prices on really cute stuff. Might hit them up online. I just looked on their website and they have the $5 candy tubes for $5 right now. fyi

I'm disappointed there is not more XBOX 360 games in here. And I really get irritated that every fighting game worth playing is rated M and the language is so bad that I can't stand it. urrg. Come on XBox you can do better.

I really miss shopping at Meijer. When I moved to WV, we don't have them here but I saw a few things int he ad I might try to snag online. It was fun to read through one of their ads again. I was disappointed at the prices on the TVs though. They don't seem to compare well with past BF sales on TVs.

I have only purchases a few gifts so far. Just purchased online from LIDS today as a result of the GD email I received that stated they were having a FLASH sale for only a few hours today. I was looking for Washington Redskins stuff and decided to check it out. Glad I did. The savings was 40% of my total purchase and FREE shipping. Thank you GOTTA DEAL for the heads up.

I'll be stopping here for the 50% Christmas ribbon.
