I'm in the same boat. Bought Pirates of the Caribbean 2 on DVD on 12/5 and hope to get it by Christmas.

There's an online special advertised on their website that offers some December dates for $41. If you call reservations (877-750-5464), they will sometimes give you a lower rate (done it before), but $41 is pretty low, even for excalibur.

Even though it's 11/28, the FF discount code worked for me already. I got 20% off the already discounted price from a polo shirt. I had to act fast b/c they were out of this particular size yesterday, but suprisingly were back in stock with my size today.

Are you using the analog VGA cable or DVI? You might experience better clarity with DVI. However, I don't notice a difference in some LCD's between either type of connection. For best results you should set the PC to output to the native panel resolution of the monitor, mostly likely 1280x1024. Anything else and the monitor has to scale to fit.

Not sure about it being free. The link to the website says that it's $4.99. Other stores are charging $19.99 for this game. I paid $4.99 on BF at CC. It's a great game.
