Happy August!!! We are starting the month with a new puppy addition to our house. Missing sleep but happy to see the older dogs playing like puppies again. Boys head back to school in a couple weeks, where does the time go?

Happy July!!!! Lots and lots of rain here....LOTS. Thankfully my pumps were replaced last year and they are working like Champs!

Happy June!!! Crazy hot/cold weather here, praying for sun on Saturday! My youngest turns 13 and I'm getting ready for his outdoor bday party. Where does the time go?

Happy May! My oldest will be 16 this month.... Where does time go? Looking forward to next weekend, my new stove and microwave will finally be here . I ordered back in February and have been counting the days for evenly cooked food, lol. Hope everyone is doing great and powering through allergy and sinus season! Soon it will be June and the pollen dust will be gone!

March!!!!! Starting the month off on a high. Snow is melting, I got a promotion at work and Mom gets her 2nd dose of vaccine tomorrow. Truly blessed here. Hope everyone is doing great!

6 more weeks of winter and I believe it! 10 inches of snow from the storm this weekend and more coming Thursday. On a funny note, my poor dog doesn't know how to do his "business" with all this snow

Happy 2021 everyone! Quiet Christmas and New Years here, didn't even make it to midnight, lol After Christmas clearance has been thin so far. I usually find quite a bit I can use for Easter baskets... Will have to keep hunting. Stay safe!

Christmas Crack (Seriously Addictive, my kids ask for this year round) 40 saltine crackers 2 sticks of butter (1 cup) 1 cup packed brown sugar 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (Note: Nestle/Toll House chocolate chips do not work in this recipe) 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles or 1/2 cup sliced almonds cooking spray Line a sheet pan with foil and coat with cooking spray. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place the crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet. Place the butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Pour the brown sugar mixture over the crackers and spread with a spatula to coat. Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake for 3-5 minutes, or until bubbling. Remove the pan from the oven and immediately scatter the chocolate chips over the top. Place the pan back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes to melt the chocolate. Spread the chocolate evenly over the top. Place the sprinkles on top of the chocolate. Let the toffee sit until completely cool, either at room temperature or you can refrigerate. Cut into pieces and try not to eat the whole tray
