Just for fun: I would LOVE that Kitchen Aid stand mixer for $159. I have 2 family members who will be getting them as gifts this year and that price would love to pay that lol I already purchased one 5qt from QVC for $250 w/ 6 easy payments. Not sure if that was a deal or not lol

I doubt they do, but I looked at the small print and it doesn’t give a clear indication. It just says restrictions apply and not all products eligible.

I love it! I once did that sorta thing for my daughter for Christmas. I think she was 14. Between myself, my mom and my brother, she got $700 as a big part of her gift. So we hid the 100 dollar bills in different gifts...in the pocket of her new coat, inside her iPad mini box, inside her stocking and a couple of other places. She was pretty excited and we loved seeing her face, especially after the 3rd one because she kept thinking she was done lol

Every year I say I’m going to start saving around March; every year, it never happens lol but I do eventually begin to budget around this time to start shopping. Next week, I officially start my shopping. I have my girls’ lists and I’m about half way through making my list for my other family members I’m going to buy for.

Oh ok, I see. Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if that will matter to my girls. They have a wii, but wanted to get them something new. I guess I better secretly inquire lol my 17 yo probably won’t care as much because she’s always working and hanging out with friends. My 11 yo will mostly use it.

Check out ashtondrake.com, that’s where I got my daughter’s silicone baby from 2 years ago for Christmas. They do have a $99 collection, but most are over that. But the good thing is they have a payment option where you can pay in 4 monthly installments and they ship it when you make your first payment at time of purchase.

I am also wanting to buy a Switch as our family game. I was on Target’s website to load my Cartwheel deals and ran across the new Nintendo Switch Lite that’s coming out. It’s $199 and the colors are beautiful lol I’m looking to purchase the teal or yellow one.

I’m with you guys! Miss Kmart layaway. The last 2 in my area close in mid-December. Everything is 10-30% off right now. I plan to go in once a week to keep an eye on the discounts as they get deeper. I can certainly use the pjs, sheets, towels and things like that for Christmas gifts. Im sure I’ll start a Walmart layaway soon as I just asked my girls for their lists.

I told my girls (17 & 11) to start on their lists and to have them to me in the next couple of weeks. I just have to figure out what I’m getting my other 10 family members. I’m also encouraging my girls to give back so I’m having them pick one person from their school that may not be as fortunate, get to know them (if they don’t already) and they’ll present them with Christmas gifts (a couple of things they want and a few they ma need). This has been on my mind for a couple of years so I’m excited to finally do it and hopefully continue to do it for the coming Christmases.

I’m hoping to find a good deal on a bedroom set for my 17 year old. She wants a new one and it’s time. I’ve never shopped for big furniture before so not sure about pricing, but I’m hoping to find a nice 5 piece set for about $600
