Does American Girl ever offer more than 10% off? I am looking a possibly purchasing some stuff for Christmas and I can't remember from last year.

I am looking for an inexpensive MP3 player for my DS10 for Christmas. Meijer has an RCA Lyra 512 MP3 player on sale for 39.99 this weekend. Normally 69.99. Is this a good one to start out with and a decent price? The reviews don't look too bad on Amazon for this one. Meijer's carries French Toast Brand and I believe they are on sale this week. Also if you have a Meijer credit card, you can get an extra 20% off today. Target carries French Toast as well. I usually find marked down shirts after school has started. That's a great way to get the next size up for cheap. Gymboree is carrying the school uniform clothes this year also. Their stuff looks nice - just a little to expensive for me. Land's End is always another option. There clothing wears well.

I should have clarified what I meant by older sets. Sets from when movies 1 and 2 came out. Probably 4-5 years old. Looking for Hogwart's Express, Escape from Privet Drive (flying blue car) and the Shrieking Shack sets. My boys just got into the Harry Potter stuff and now they are hard to find (without paying above what the original prices were).

Check out the section on Mousesavers under the preferred off-site hotels. There's great pictures there and they may already have a discount rate listed. The newsletter sometimes does offer specials only available through the newsletter. I checked my March newsletter, but there weren't any special deals for any off-site hotels. Also check out the discussion boards at www.disboards.com I found this site extremly helpful in the planning of our trip.

We just stayed at the now Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration November 2005. I found a special price for it at mousesavers.com. My family and I loved the accomodations - especially for the $$ we saved. The rooms were well sized and recently remodeled. They were working on remodeling the exterior of one of the sections, so there was some scaffolding up, but nothing to where it was inconvenient. Of course by now, they could be finished. The pools were wonderful. There's a small heated pool, a larger non-heated pool with a slide and waterfall area and a hot tub. There's a pizza hut inside the hotel and a nice restaurant that we had breakfast in one morning. It was less than 10 minutes to Disney. We would definitely stay there again. :)

I have a DS6 and DS9. Their gifts from Santa are each wrapped in different special paper with no name tags. Santa leaves 1 present in the stocking that matches the paper the big gifts are wrapped in. The presents from mom and dad are books and family games. Presents that the whole family can have fun with together. Santa gives them the toys!

Don't know what area you are from but in the Cleveland OH, the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad does a Polar Express theme train ride. They dress in pj's, get hot cocoa and cookie, listen to the story, go for a train ride and best of all Santa comes on board to hand out the 1st gift of Christmas - the reindeer's bell.

My kids did this at day care when they were younger and since then we have started the tradition at home. I have them put out their shoes before bed and in the monrning there are a few little treats in them. They love doing it!
