I Need A Big Deal Finder On This One!!
sbaldasare replied to erinsn77's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
www.ezbuyfurniture.com 637.95 for the 5 piece set. Not sure how much shipping is, but there's also a "save More - Click Here for Instant Coupon" if you put in your e-mail address. Not sure what your total would be though it might be worth checking out. Here's another option: http://www.airbediq.com/hifupodich.html Set of 2 chairs each 115.00 with free shipping - Total for 4 chairs - 230.00 on www.ezbuyfurniture.com the table is 277.00 plus shipping for a total of 352.00 So your total would be 230.00 + 352.00 = 582.00 Of course you would have to order from 2 different places, but that would put you under 600.00 Hope this helps! -
I got an e-mail from them that if I attend the following workshop, I get a 10% off coupon. Might want to see if there are any workshops at your local store and if they are offering this too: Sign up today for a free Do-It-Herself WorkshopSM: Building Relaxation: Creating Backyard Retreats, Monday, May 7, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

$5 off $25 @ Toys R Us Valid 03/11-03/17/07
sbaldasare replied to DezaRay24's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I didn't have any issues in printing out the coupon. Barnes and Nobles always print fuzzy on my computer at work, but this Toys R Us was nice and clear. It does state clearly right above the coupon "only one coupon per customer may be printed and redeemed during the valid coupon date" Dated at 3/11 - 3/17. I would think that since this is a legitimate Toys R Us coupon issued by them, that any Toys R Us would accept it. -

Best / Cheapest Place to Order Checks
sbaldasare replied to sbaldasare's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Our bank only offers free checks if we have one certain type of checking account (maintaining a HIGH balance) - which of course won't work for us. -
Best / Cheapest Place to Order Checks

I didn't know Walmart did checks. Thanks! Anyone know how much more it is to do the photo checks? That's really cool! -
Looking for a recommendation on where to purchase checks from. Usually I go through Checks Unlimited and have never had any issues with quality, delivery, etc. But I am just looking for someplace that may have better pricing. Thanks

Archery Set Help Needed for 10 year old DS
sbaldasare replied to sbaldasare's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Thanks for all the help....I'm going to go looking tonight for a recurve. We have a couple of chain sport stores here and a couple mom-and-pop stores, so hopefully I will be able to find something for him. -
I'm getting the "I'm sorry your call can not be completed as dialed." Have been calling it the last several days and no problems....I have a very disappointed 7 year old boy tonight...

Archery Set Help Needed for 10 year old DS
sbaldasare replied to sbaldasare's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I will check out the site. Thanks! Not to sound dumb - but what's the difference between a recurve and compound? All I know about them is that he loves doing archery at summer camp and boy scout camp. -
Archery Set Help Needed for 10 year old DS

My son is 10 but only weighs like 65 lbs. - he's pretty skinny and short, so that helps to know a little more about the lb draw. I didn't want to go into a local sporting goods store and not know anything about bows. I figured they would try and talk me into the most expensive or not be that knowledgeable about them and not be able to answer my questions. We're thinking about taking a trip to Cabela's after the holidays, so the armguard thing might be a good thing to get him while we're there. -
When my husband's grandmother was living, we would "pre-pay" part of her heating bill. I would call the local carrier, tell them who's account I wanted the payment applied to and the next month it would show up on her bill. We would always get a little letter or card from the gas carrier stating that a payment had been made to her account, so we would give that to her for Christmas. In Ohio, a little help with the heating bill is always great in January!

My son loves archery and I would like to surprise him with a bow/arrow set for Christmas so that he can practice archery in our backyard when the weather gets nice. I have absolutely no idea what one to get though. I would like to spend under 40.00, but I don't understand the differences in the ones out there. I have been looking on dunhams.com and they carry the Fred Bear brand - but what what string length and draw weight would be good? Can anyone help with any recommendations? Thanks!

Book Ideas for Husband Needed
sbaldasare replied to sbaldasare's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Thanks everyone! Wow, what a quick response. I am making my list of ones that I want to pick up for him. -
My husband likes to read John Grisham and has read all but the most recent. Does anyone have any recommendation as to another good author that he might enjoy?

I registered for the sale in Lewis Center OH and at the bottom of the coupon it has that locations address and hours of sale. However in the body of the coupon it says "valid at Scholastic Book Fairs Warehouse locations only. Coupon applied after all discounts. One coupon per event." I would think from the way the terms read that they could be used at any of the sales.

I have seen computer games - just bought a Harry Potter Lego one at the last summer sale. Last year's December sale, I saw books, teaching materials, computer games, activity sets - like wooden dinosaur puzzles, glow in the dark human body bones, etc. I can't remember if there were any video system games though. I am going to ours this weekend and it's worth it for an hour drive. Of course, another mom and I go and we make a day of it - shopping and having lunch.

Looking for Christmas tree Train
sbaldasare replied to sbaldasare's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I tried Hobby Lobby (forgot about that store), but haven't tried Michaels. I will try there tonight. -
If any one has an idea where to look for a battery operated small scale train to put around under the Christmas tree. I have looked at Target, Meijers, Kohls, Toys R Us (only had BIG one). I do not want an expensive train - just something that runs!

I pre-registered for the sale coming up here in Ohio and got a coupon for $10 off of $50. I am only a book sale volunteer and have never been asked either. I think the best deal I got last year was Harry Potter hardback # 5 for $6!
