This does look like a good deal. However let me put my 2 cents in about it if I may. I bought this at Best Buy at the Black Friday sale for 25.00 this past fall and it was a great deal until I needed ink! Good lord is ink HARD to find for this thing unless you are going to order it online somewhere - so just beware and find a good ink source!

My daughter has a Butterscotch as well as a horse like this one and a unicorn like this one - she plays with them all just about equally - so I think any horse loving kid would love to have one of these!

Wow - I have to say - at the risk of sounding redundant - I am totally unimpressed also. It makes me sad actually because I actually enjoy this ritual and used to save a lot of money at it too! Yes, I too have had HORRIBLE experiences with LTD - but much better experience with Lakeside. I like that they actually ship items in a somewhat timely manner - and that you pay when you order and pay one amount for shipping. I dont find their shipping to be especially high - especially for larger items. I would recommend Lakeside MUCH more highly that LTD!!

My parents got the FurReal Butterscotch for my daughter for Christmas and let me tell you - Butterscotch gets lots of love. She has a toy room and her bedroom and Butterscotch is one that MUST stay in her room according to her. She sits on him when she watches a movie in our living room, she sings to him. Butterscotch is expensive but if you have a child that loves horses - this is a must have! He even has an air hose that hooks up to his nose and when he winnies or neigh's puffs of air come out. Its almost a little eerie because when you walk in a room and he hears you he turns his head towards you and winnies. But most importantly - my dd LOVES him and I highly recommend him!
