no board games this year? Anyone know if anyone has deals on board games this year?
I was in walmart and noticed they had reduced the prices already on a lot of the board games there was chutes and ladders and a couple other ones for 5.00

Boy I hope wal-mart hold true to its word and slashes prices because this is the year I need it.

I saw one on their ad to. It was $25. I think it was a bissell.

I hope that since the ad is so bad that means the lines will be short. I have to go there for the pajamas the gps and the darn tool box.

I have the dora power wheel and my daughter loves it. She is three. I am getting her the dora cash register this year. Her favorite toy is her kitchen and it kind of goes with it.

I have to go and fight the crowd for the darn Garmin GPS. I keep reminding myself that I love BF.

It is normally 200.00 but for the blitz sell it willbe 169.. so that is a good deal.

I think most of the stores are having secret sales. No one has released what they will be. It is not just Wal-Mart.Well that is really silly of them to make us wait until Thanksgiving day. We all are going to see thier ad and decide to go to other stores instead because the ad is so terrible. If they are waiting to give us 3 great sales they are making a big mistake. If I dont see something soon that makes me excited to go there I will head elsewhere.

You might want to ban Target also since they pulled their account from this site. (Wal-Mart did not), Target was sneaky they got their free advertising and then slammed Brad with a C N D and the pulled their affliate account.

I am not going to boycott neither. I have no problems with Wal-Mart. I am out to get the best deal so in my opinion who ever has it will get my money.

Have you tried QVC or HSN. They had them on sale and I got my son some about a week ago.

I agree about the $4. crock pots and such but I tell you what it is insane by them. They are like the first thing gone. I guess that is why they keep doing it.I am disappointed at Walmart's ad this year or atleast the rumors I have heard. I think I will be doing most of my shopping on Thanksgiving and most likely at Kmart and Target. I don't plan on going to Walmart at all!!! Seriously folks how many coffee makers and crockpots do you need at 4 bucks???? :lol

I want to know about the toy deals. Are they not going to have any toy deals? I am not going to go to another store and pay more for the same toy if it is cheaper at Wal-Mart. Sorry but I am not, every dollar I have counts so I try to spend it wisely.

Is the ad about like the rest of them or is it truly worse? It just seems that none of the store have anything special this year.Trust me...wm doesn't have nothing special...but you didn't hear that from me.

I bought one at Wal- Mart. It was the 2 cds for $20. They were about out of them though and this was about a week ago.

I don't know who wal-mart points their finger at, usually the economy, but the ads I have seen this year are not the best so they will not be the only ones with bad sales. And really they don't have much competition to beat right now from the other ads so maybe they will do something good this year.I suppose this could be used as a valid excuse ,but honestly,even with out Gottadeal or any of the other BF sites, or even the internet,you're still going to have ads leaked and people from certain stores looking to see what their competitors are selling and maybe take advantage of that store before hand...
Still seems like an opportunity to blame poor sales on someone else,other then the actual stores that put these supposed deals together..I'd be willing to bet that if Walmart comes to the table with the same deals they had last year,their sales for BF will be just as poor as last year,if not worse...and then who are they going to point their finger at..

The problem wtih pulling all the items off the shelf would be a loss of money to the store in the weeks leading up to BF. I do think that part of the reason the stores do not want their add leaked is because of other stores stealing there sales and also the customers. Look at the peole who say they go the week before buy the item and then take it back on BF.

My Wal-Mart is open 24 hours. The only time they close is Christmas eve and reopen the day after Christmas.
