  1. Had one when I was kid. Also had pet rock and mood ring. Anybody remember those? LOL I'm showing my age
  2. Do candy bar purchases count?
  3. Hobby Lobby On Colerain Ave in Cinci had ton of stuff left last night. Lots of ornaments, trees and tons of wrapping paper, bows and boxes.
  4. My Santa bucks came in a mid-week advertisement mailer. It was mixed in with ad for papa johns' and stuff. Last year my Meijers didn't have them as you came in the door.
  5. No ad at my Wally World either. But for those of you looking for Ipods. They had them $10 cheaper than BB and CC.
  6. Santa Bucks. Are coupons that give you a certain dollar amt off for spending so much. Like one santa buck (think coupon) might take off $5 on a $29.99 purchase. Usually they are only good on general merchandise, not groceries. But last year there were not many exculsions as I recall. Pretty much good on most general merchandise.
  7. Gotta love early Christmas presents like that.
  8. We have our Walmart within a 2 mile radius of K-Mart, Meijier, Bigg's , Johnny Toy's, Kolh's and TRU. With all the competition you'd think they would have been the cheapest, but they weren't by a long shot. They only other place that was more expensive, as far as toys go, was K-Mart. Meijer has had some great deals, PM's, and has also given me price adjustments on PM for other stores for items I've bought in last 30 days. I only shop at WM if I have to anyway. Customer Service at our's is really lousy.
  9. Yep! Heard the advertisement on the radio for Meijier Santa Bucks this morning. Last year they came in the weekly grocery ad mailer, guess they will be in an insert in the regular paper tomorrow instead.
  10. Wow, Thanks for link. Didn't realize I had a warehouse so close. Got my $10 coupon and apparently I'm not done Christmas shopping yet.
  11. They will even take their expired coupons too. I also thought I saw someone mention you could use Linen n Things coupons there as well - but I'm not positive about that.
  12. I've priced matched at Meijer's with just the ad and reciept in hand. They always do it with no problem. And YES I've done it with gifts that were opened in the last 30days. You don't necessarily need the item as much as the reciept and the PM ad. Good luck.
  13. I think this is for on-line purchases only Old Navy-Friends & Family on line code good from Nov 27-Dec 3---20% off code F8JXXP9RGCNJ
  14. Sons loved them. Better than lego because most sets allow to build things with some moveable parts. It's not stacking blocks on top of one another.
  15. Thanks. Ordered 2 + Ron White DVD for $10. Total $14.95 for 3 DVD's
  16. What day does this sale start? Friday or Saturday? Are there any exclusions? Love those trench coats! With gift card I still have from last year I could get it for less than $25 YEH!!!
  17. A StarWars Transformer, StarWars Legos, Match Box PopUp Construction Zone, Sorry Game (With Talking Pawn), and Imaginex Dinosaur. Will probably pick up a couple of footballs and soccor balls before collection period ends. PS. We were going to do the Toys R Us toys for tots becasue they are matching toys, until we saw someone at our local store digging through one of the containers looking for an item. No one working seemed to care or notice. We are taking ours to location were Marines are collecting them - The Zoo.
  18. My nephew is into those hot wheels pop-ups. Kinda expensive. Has anyone seen those on sale anywhere?
  19. OK I admit it, I am confused. There are a lot of choices out there. Over the weekend I bought ds11 a Compaq Presario Note Book C302NR with HP printer for $349 (after $200 rebate on PC and $70 on printer) at Office Depot. Now I am wondering if the $399 Compaq at Staples on BF would be a better deal.He would mainly use it for homework, surfing and email. Without recommending BB $379 HP (lines here at BB are unbelievable on BF), can anyone offer advice? Did I get a decent deal, or could I do better? Thanks
  20. We went at 4pm and there was actaully less food samples than there is on a regular Saturday. Very disappointed. I hate buying anything in bulk (especially for a party) if I can't try it first. Definitly not worth the time. Only good deal was bags of tiger shrimp (uncooked but peeled) 1.5lbs 21-25 ct size for $6.41 bag. That was good deal and was flying outta the freezer case. I bought four.
  21. Thanks, Thought it would have been to simple to do that. I only read the listing and didn't look at the ad (fine print).
  22. Has anyone tryed buying BF items before hand, like now, and then getting price difference on that day? Was thinking about one of the laptops at BB for ds. THought about buying and then standing in line at return counter on BF to get price difference. I've done it on other items but not door busters on BF. Does it work?
