After a huge ordeal (on another thread, too long a story to repost), I finally got one of the kitchens on Saturday for my MIL to give my boys for Christmas...I found more interactive sets to go with it at TRU on Sunday...it got really good reviews overall, so I think my kids will like it, and it does seem really neat...and I noticed in the store that I got that in on Saturday, that the BF Megablocks that they had TONS of leftover, that were originally $10 on BF, were marked up to $14.xx! Can't believe it! Can't sell it, then mark it up! WTF?? So as far as whether it would scan at the sale price, it's probably a YMMV type of thing...

Our W-M had only two racks of jammies, and one ran up to 18 months, and the other up to 4, and the ad said they ran to like size 12 for boys, or something like that, so that really ticked me off!! Glad to know that they sucked, though, so I don't feel I missed out...but I did get jammies at the Disney Store on bf for $7.99 less 20%, which made them $6.39 a pair, and I KNOW their quality, so that's a good deal!

There are 2 W-Ms up where I was, and one had a few things left by 9:30 or so, and the other (which is usually the case as far as I've seen each year, because I tend to try both) had almost everything still available, including Diego jeeps at 10...it's funny, too, because the one that I went to on Saturday (out of the way, so I don't go there normally, but worth the drive to pick the kitchen up, as the other 2 didn't have it), I saw some of the BF things, specifically TONS of the Mega Blocks, on Saturday...I'll have to look around here and see what I see tomorrow...we have 3 nearby, and I'd have loved to have picked up 2 jeeps for my boys, but to haul them five hours, when I also already had a new artificial tree, just wasn't even an option!

In my case, it made no difference...she hadn't even LOOKED at the receipt, just a flat-out NO...when she was told to do it, only then did she look at it, and I had several other things on it as well...

I called around to other Wal-Marts on Saturday, and found one that was in a town about 20 minutes away, so I went right away and got it...the kid that carried it out for me told me that I was "lucky" because someone called looking for one on Friday, and they couldn't find any, and just thought they were out of them...I told him that I guess I called on the right day and got the right person...it was way up in Lawn and Garden, and it took a tall ladder to get it down, so no one even noticed it in the time it took me to get there after I called...SO glad I got it, since I didn't want the hassle of site to store...not a problem if I'M the one having to pick it up, but since it was going to be for my kids from my MIL, and they live 5 hours from us, it's not like I can go pick it up for her, kwim?

The same thing happened to me with the Electronic Banking Monopoly. I bought it on Wednesday with the $5 off coupon, making it $29.xx, and they did the pa from $24.xx down to the $20, but with all of the grief I was given over my pa for all of my items, I wasn't going to push it, as I had no evidence in hand at that time about the corporate policy...however, since I got it, I've had half a mind to print it out and hand it to that snot that I dealt with at guest services!

Oh, I had problems...I told the girl (teenager, could be the same one who told me two days earlier that they wouldn't be doing the adjustments for the 2-day sale), and she came right out and said they "couldn't" do any pa's for the 2-day sale, and I told her, "Well, that's not what corporate says." And she then asked if I called the 1-800 number, and I told her yes, which I hadn't yet, but I had already sent an e-mail, and when I got home that morning, the e-mail saying that the pa included the 2-day sale was already in my inbox. So she called a manager over, who got pissy, and she said, "Just do it. Everything else, out the door!", which was my indication that they didn't intend to do it again...and this girl continued to be pissy while doing it, and even when I thanked her, I got no response, so I think I'll be e-mailing corporate again, to let them know how rude this girl was...it's their CORPORATE policy, and really leaves no room for negotiation, so just shut up and do it... Like another poster said, the $$ wasn't coming out of HER pocket...

Pissed me off, they had this in their ad, went to TWO Wal-Marts, and neither one of them had it...not that it was sold out, they just didn't have it! I was there at 4:30 and had two or three people searching high, low, front, back, and nada! I was soooooo mad, that was the one thing I wanted...it wasn't a blitz item, only $10 off, so why didn't they have them? They advertise them for their 2-day sale, and then they don't have any? I can get it online site to store, but I don't live here where I'm shopping, and it's for my MIL to give my kids, so now I either have to tote it a five hour drive from PA when we come home for Christmas, or get my computer-challenged MIL to order it and then go pick it up, which I don't really want to make her do, but I can't see paying all of that shipping to have it shipped to her, when she lives 5 minutes from there!:mad:

There is a FP one, don't know what it's called, but I'm pretty sure it's been recalled due to small parts breaking off and being a choking hazard...we're looking at the Little Tikes one, too...there is a thread here somewhere about pretend kitchens, and from what I've read, people like the Little Tikes one...

I don't know specifically what they will have this year, but in years past, I've gotten awesome deals, especially on pj's for my kids, as they are on sale, and then you get the additional 20% off...I can usually get good deals on stocking stuffer type items, too...last year, I remember there wasn't really anything they'd "advertised" that I wanted on bf, but once I got in there, there were such good deals, I still found stuff to spend $$ on!

The coupon says it's not valid with any other % off sales...that would be awesome, though!!

The extra off is generally until a certain time, and if memory serves, it was until 10 a.m. Not positive on that, but I know for a FACT that it was during a certain timeframe...

In Wyomissing, PA, they are still only 30%, and there was one Dora one left, but multiple Dora/Diego fitted sheet/pillowcase packs...found a Diego set at 75% off (last one), in Lancaster, PA last night, as well as the fitted sheet/pillowcase packs and nightlights...I'm in upstate NY today, and they are still only 30% off here...saw one Thomas and one Diego, and again, multiple fitted sheet/pillowcase packs and several Diego nightlights...

Yes, I do it every year, too...just take the receipt within the hours stated for their doorbusters, if what you have purchased is a doorbuster, to the CS desk and they'll do the price adjustments...Supposedly they do price adjustments if you've bought the item in the last 14 days, but when I went to get a price adjustment on something last week, the girl tried to tell me I might not get it because I'd purchased the item 10 days prior, and not within the last 7 days...well, the computer did it, and I really think she just didn't know what she was talking about. I generally go in the day or two before Thanksgiving and buy the sale items I want, and then before I head back home on bf, my last stop is generally Target, where there is NO ONE in line at CS, and I get my adjustment! I do still ask prior to bf, though, what their price adjustment policy is, because sooner or later, they will catch on and stop doing adjustments for bf sale items, I just don't know how long that'll be before they start doing it...

Is that nationwide? THAT would be awesome! Kohl's is where I've been waiting for the doors to open for the past two years in a row now, so if that means I can get in there and then go wait somewhere else, that's SUPER!

Do you know if they have the ads in the store? For whatever reason, even though there is one Walgreen's here about 7 miles away, we don't get the ad in our Sunday paper...same for Target, though it's a bit farther away, but it's still the only one we have in this county!

Tried to order the boys one, and it's already out of stock...

My sister's bf did that to someone last year, can't remember what item it was, but it pissed me off...it was his first year going, and if it was me he did that to, and I knew it, he'd be minus a couple of parts by the time he left that store...but he's a moron anyway, and doesn't give a crap...idiot...if I'd been with them instead of split up from them, I'd have given him hell for sure... That's just sooooooooo wrong...

I can't remember where I found it, right off the top of my head, but I know it's not good until the 8th, so once it's good, I'll just do a search for all of the Kohl's topics, and look it up that way...if I run across it again before then, I'll post it, but that's probably your best bet...and you can be sure that once the 8th rolls around, someone will bump up that post, so it shouldn't be too hard to find!

I will wait and see if they offer 99 cent/free shipping, because the october20 code is no longer working...I'll probably scout around here and see if I can find another code...I know they're doing f&f this weekend, so maybe there's a code there...thanks again!!
