  1. Thanks so much!! I was intending to get the baby girl 1st Christmas anyway, and I had a coupon for 40% off reg price, and even with shipping, this was better! I just paid $5 more for one on eBay for my one ds that I couldn't find one for back in 2005...great deal, IMO...
  2. Yes you will... Yay, I got the Wii one, too!! SO looking forward to that one!!
  3. My son came home from preschool talking about this game...and he's very difficult to please when it comes to toys...this is the cheapest I have seen this, as it seems everyone has it for around $24... http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_1_7?url=search-alias%3Dtoys-and-games&field-keywords=flippin+frogs&sprefix=flippin http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/5152-AiDuiL._SL160_AA160_.jpg

  6. They DO price adjust, but you have to go while that item is on sale...I've done this before, as recently as yesterday...
  7. OMG, that's funny and sad at the same time...funny that people ARE actually returning them because of the story, and sad that that woman's child was probably DYING to get one of those for Christmas, and not they're not...and WOW on the "recall" scam!! OMG, people are SO desperate!!
  8. A bit off-topic, but I just read an online article saying that these could be dangerous...some chemical that's in them called antimony...just FYI... Maybe it's a gimmick to get people to stop buying them, so that everyone has a fair shot, LOL! And I'm not in on it...I have 2 boys and a baby girl, and my oldest boy (5), has already told me they are "girl" toys, so I didn't have to get in on the craze thank GOD, but I'm sure soon enough, it'll be something else...
  9. Doubt it...they don't match % off sales...
  10. I took mine back yesterday...totally NOT worth it if you own a long-haired dog! Took me longer to clean out than it would if I dragged out the big vacuum and did it myself...and this was after using it only twice...the recommended schedule for cleaning out the vacuum is 3 to 5 uses, obviously based on conditions of use, but if I waited until I'd used a 3rd time, that would've been the end of it, because it was SO full of dog hair...and we vacuum ALL the time!! Disgusting...

    Elf on the Shelf

I ordered "Charlie" a few weeks ago...got it for $17.xx, with a 30% off coupon from Borders.com (book with elf)...and it has worked wonders for us! My dh wants to know why he couldn't think of that...I told him he can come up with whatever will work for the kids to behave the OTHER 11 months of the year, LOL!
  12. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with a longer haired dog...I bought the one at Kohl's last week...we have a golden retriever...we've used it three times, and I've cleaned it out twice...what a pain in the rear, as you have to basically take it apart to get all of the hair that is wound around the brushes...would be much quicker to get the regular vacuum out and empty out the bin afterward, even with having to do it myself...and on area rugs, it has trouble getting over ours... Needless to say, it's packaged up, and headed back to Kohl's on Friday...if we only had kids, or a short-haired dog instead, it might work, but definitely not with a golden!
  13. I have...I'm still debating the "worth it" part...I have a golden retriever and a 5 month old, so to drag the vacuum out all the time is a HUGE hassle, but she is too mobile to let her on the floor without it being vacuumed often...yick... Anyway, dh says there are three settings, and there is one setting that works the best in his opinion, and the Roomba will run continuously until it runs itself dead for like an hour...I feel there is a lot of redirecting to have to get it throughout the main level of our house in that amount of time, but in the future, I would block off my living room (there is an area rug there, the rest is linoleum and hardwood), and let it focus in there, since that is where dd is most of the time, and that is the only place she is currently on the floor...it was used twice, and I turned it over to clean out the bottom of it, and I swear, it took me 15 minutes to get all of the hair out of the rollers, so at least I know it works, but for that amount of time, I don't know that I'm going to want to waste so much of it every other cleaning...I think I'd rather drag out the vacuum, as much as I hate dealing with the cord...however, when I packed it up to return it, I found there was a cleaning tool in the box (dh opened it, and said he never saw a cleaning tool...probably because that would mean he'd have to actually MOVE something around in the box), and so I will give it another shot to see if that helps clean it faster and easier than it was before...if not, it's going back...the other con is that it's VERY loud, and I feel like I can't hear myself think while it's running, and you certainly can't watch TV unless it's in another room...
  14. Is there a code for the free shipping? I have two of the digital frames in my cart, and I'm still being charged shipping...won't bother with the order if I can't get the shipping!
  15. no, it's a regular amazon box, small and a bit heavy...my ds can't read much yet (he's only 5), but he knows DSi, and he'd have been all over that!
  16. I got my shipping confirmation on Thanksgiving day, and it was at my front door today...mine was a blue one...
  17. Got a price adjustment without issue, even after I was told no on the phone the other day...although, I didn't have any doorbusters, either...I went in Wednesday night, and a couple of the things I was looking for, I specifically told someone in toys that it was going to be in the ad on Friday, and I was trying to buy it that night, LOL...if they hadn't done it, it was only stuff that I could've lived without anyway...the only things I really wanted were the remote control Mario Kart cars, because my boys are all about Mario these days!
  18. That stinks!! I didn't even have to ask...the cashier just told me to tell her what the prices were supposed to be on the items I had...and I was surprised that I got everything, I thought for sure there'd be something that would have to be rolled out on carts on Friday morning...maybe there was, but it was nothing I was after anyway!:)
  19. My mom got a price adjustment on the Uno Moo game today...she bought it on Wednesday for one of my kids, and I KNOW I told her it would be on sale today, but she wasn't fighting the crowd, and then she said she was "surprised" to see it in the flyer yesterday...um, OK, I TOLD you it was on sale, LOL! Oh well, at least they honored the price for her!
  20. Well, I went and got a bunch of stuff tonight, and if they don't price adjust, they can have it all back...wasn't anything I HAD to have, just stuff that I could use, and a couple of things I wanted for my kids... We'll see what happens on Friday...
  21. Our BB is new here, and I tried to see as I was driving by there tonight, but it's set back off the road, and it was super-foggy here...all I could make out was a bunch of cars, but I'm sure there are people there...luckily tonight is very mild...it won't be tomorrow night...
  22. Whoo-hoo!! Went in tonight and got EVERYTHING I was after, at the sale price, PLUS I got the Kohl's cash...last year, I got the sale prices, but no KC, as they weren't offering it the night before Thanksgiving...one stop crossed off my list!! :)
  23. Does anyone know who gets the call when you call a Target store directly? I pushed 0 for the operator, and wonder if I should've requested to speak to someone in Guest Services...I intend to go there tonight anyway, since someone said the pajamas were already on sale, to get a few things, and I think I'll just casually ask someone in Guest Services while I'm there...
  24. Just called my target, and they will NOT price adjust for items in the 2-day ad...
  25. Or using your example, $22.50 + free shipping...
