  1. I myself am eyeing the $20 youth acoustic guitar for my DS.
  2. I worked at Sears FOREVER and I can tell you that when the store first opens it's virtually empty. Doesn't get busy till after 10. It's a great place to get the $10 gift card, hit the next store or two and then come back.
  3. Also, if check out clerk tells you "no" because it's not the exact item. Tell the clerk you have to think about and get in another line. Sure, you may have to wait another 45 minutes but the odds are you'll get an employee who really doesn't care so much.
  4. I wondering what everyone thinks about the logitech ipod speakers for $39.99. It's not a door buster, but only at least 15 at every store. What are the odds I'll get it doya think?
  5. So let DH buy his own plasma tv. I figure you're saving him money after that big purchase, right?

    Fleece Throws

Everyone has the fleece throws this year. I think two sites had 'em for 5.99. Just check!
  7. Our Sears will only be handing out the $10 certificates at the merchandise pick up location. Just good to know.
  8. TRU is fractured and falling apart. Stick to your guns and don't give up. I didn't order the cabin but if they have them at regular price and are cancelling the sale orders you can be darn sure I'm calling a consumer hotline investigation place.
  9. If you're going to Kohl's on BF don't forget your book or magazine for the checkout line! I've never waited less than 45 minutes.
  10. I would also point out that Costco doesn't open at 5am, so there's no rush to get there. Didn't they have DVD "seasons" last year with one of those coupons?
  11. Dick's also usually has a coupon for $5 off $25 or more or something like that. I need a baseball glove for DH, so they're on my list!
  12. Just a note...Target will not price match other stores on BF but Wal Mart will. Take your flier into Wal Mart and the clerk will make the adjustment.
  13. I worked for too long at the Disney catalog before they sold it to some Utah outfit who shipped the jobs to India. They sold the Disney stores to The Children's Place in 2004. When they did that, they started having BF deals. The ads are hard to come by, so you have to show up at their store and see what they've got. Usually some stocking stuffers are worth the effort.
  14. Yes!! I have trouble getting our Target in Shawnee, KS to honor rainchecks on advertised merchandise. They had an ad for Coke products and I hauled my 4 kids in with me to buy it up on Monday, the day after the ad. The clerk told me there was a shipment delay and I could come back later in the week. I asked for a manager who refused to sub items and refused a raincheck. I emailed corporate Target who sent me a sincere apology and an email version of a raincheck with the name of the store manager. They explained that the staff had been straightened out on raincheck use. But it's still dicey at best.
