A friend of mine that works at a WM in NC told me that Christmas items are supposed to be 75% off on Friday, if not tomorrow.

I grew up loving these. My mom had them for us when we were young. Part of the money went to us and the other part she used to shop with. It's a good thing for kids. They can save up some of their allowance and then use some of it to shop for family members.

Hubby will be in Rochester for a funeral, so the kiddies and I get to run around the house, eating and drinking. I think that I'll record the ball dropping so when he comes back we can watch it together.

The best deal of the day was the lighted outdoor reindeer and sleigh from the px for $6.25 or so. All of the outdoor stuff and trees are 75% off.

Oh boy, I can't wait for 75% off.

I am glad that you mentioned that. I followed the directions exactly and the price is not the same for me. I'm glad that someone got a good deal though.

I want to order this tree so bad, but I know dh would have a fit. We have very little storage space and already have 5 trees. Before anyone says anything the trees are different heights and normally done in different themes all over the house. He was complaining that our 7' was old and that we needed a new one. Decisions, decisions.

Shucks, I wish that I'd done this yesterday because mine are coming up at $3.98.

At 9, our daughter told us that she wanted her own computer, telephone and her own telephone number. I was thinking only when hell freezes over, but I later found out that her friends had those things.

Just when I decide to cross Kmart off of my list of last minute stops they go and do this. Somehow I have to make it there.

How good are their sales? I haven't shopped there in years.

We went in TRU, yesterday and it was a mess. I overheard an employee helping a customer that was looking for games that no one could find. It was like the sales associate was angry because the customer was going to wait as long as it took to find the game.
