Our Walmart clearanced ALL 2006 Christmas and mark down toys in Nov 2007 ( 3 isles of toys!) if it was over 30.00 they marked them $5 anything that was clearanced 29. or under was only $1!!!! I missed the first day and most was all gone. I got a couple of 70 items for $5!! and tons of $1 items. I LOVE my Walmart. It is also the most organized and cleanest I have EVER been in. Arab AL

I got these a while back when we were able to back out the shipping. I love them, but it took 2 months for delivery! I forgot I ordered them. But I do love them.

They close at 6pm tonight and don't open back up till 6am on day after Christmas!

I didn't even think of that. I don't think I would want them to have that access either. I can live without Cinamax (not even that good). But you are right....head aches could be right around the corner. Don't you have to renew one or two years?? They know then that you can't cancel without stiff penalties. I'll call my mom and tell her to sit this out. She doesn't really pay that much attention to her accounts and I don't think I would like her doing this. Thanks for making me think twice. I have basic Directv package with local channels for 42.99. Disney 1 & 2 Toon Disney Nick 1 & 2 Nicktoons (My kids' favorite) Noggin PBS Sprout Cartoon Network Boomarang Regular PBS Discovery Kids My mom has Dish version of what I have and only has 4 or 5 channels. I have to take dvd's when we go in for the holidays. 12 channels in all for the kids.

My mom has Dish and LOVES it. I HATE it. They don't have near the channels for kids as Directv (unless you pay more). But everyone has an opinion. I just wish that directv had a deal like this.

I got 3 neon lighted 6' palm trees ($25) 2-- 60"snowmen animated juggling snowballs ($30) bunch of the cords and stuff. I almost got the blow up santa under a palm but decided not to. I'm not to keen on blow up's. I almost got the ferrish wheel as well but I figured that the wind would keep knocking it over and kill it. Stopped by our big lots and they went 50% today too. Go to sets of lighted penguins for $15 a set and 2 animated bucks for $6! Not much else. Good day over all for me!

Because of trash breaking in seeing presents under a tree, we never put anything under the tree till a day or two before Christmas. Always keep your blinds closed as much as you want to show off that pretty tree. Temptation for burglars is never good. I sure hate that for them this time of year to be violated like that.

I didn't expect to much, but the kids see the commercial that PORTRAY them as actually doing something. They shouldn't so that. I did notice last night that they added disclaimers to it that they don't play music, dont move. I thought, yeah the should have called them i-Junk.. They could have put something in there to make a sound of some sort. McD's all the time! BK just cheaped out. Yeah, it's a Kid Meal toy, but when one store gives some that are halfway decent, the kids expect it from all of them. That's all we're saying... JMO
