  1. Yep, they do treat customers like crap. Sort of like we HAVE to go to Wally World. They must stay in those offices and think that they are the only game in town. The "customer service" (funny term for Walmart), said "if we can help you in the future, call back". I replied that I wouldn't be calling back, as now my business would be elsewhere. I knew for a long time that they wouldn't price match other Walmarts. We have 3 within 10-15 minutes all with different prices. But, these were prices in their own store. Baffles me!!!! See ya'll at Target. :)
  2. A few weeks back I purchased several Baby Alive Boy dolls from Walmart.com. I had them shiped site to store and picked them up. Of course, they lost one of them and had to issue a refund. However, that has taken over a week to get. Today I was checking their site which has an ad for Sunday (Oct. 21) and the Baby Alive Boys will be $19.98. I was also in their store today returning something. While there I also noticed the Baby Alive Boys were "rolled back" to $19.98. So while at the service desk I showed them my receipt for my online purchases and asked if I could have a price adjustment. After about 20 minutes and them talking back and forth to the manager (couldn't bother to come out and actually talk to me), they said that they wouldn't give me a price adjustment. I paid $29.99 for each one from Walmart.com, just a few weeks ago. They told me they "don't compete with themselves". I was like what? I purchased them from Walmart and now they have lowered the price. It seems to me anyway that I should get a price adjustment now. But, still no! When home I called Walmart customer service (2nd time in a few days, the 1st was the BF ad thing). I asked customer service if I had purchased them 2 weeks ago in that same store, would they do a price adjustment? To which the lady replied "I am unable to comment". I asked her again if someone buys some on Saturday, and Sunday it is on sale, do they give a price adjustment. Same reply. So I said I would just refund the items then and get all of my money back. They seemed to care less. What difference does it make if they refund the difference of $10 each to me, or I return all of them. They then have to put them on their store shelves and sell them for $19.98. But, that is exactly what I am going to do. They can have them back and refund all of my money. I will then go and buy them from Target. :)
  3. Mine will fall on BF this year. The best present besides smiles and hugs from my children :), would be finding a ton of deals. Happy B-day to all others on Black Friday.
  4. You would think that stores would actually want their ads on here. What better free advertsing could they get? They should pay Gottadeal for helping their holiday sales not threatening legal action. :) We are busy on Thanksgiving with traveling to visit family and friends. No time to wait to pick up the paper to make a plan for BF. That is one appeal of this site for me. I get to find out early. If I am not able to see Walmarts ad before Thanksgiving, then I will just have to drive past them on my way to TARGET for BF.
  5. Hi! Our TRU's weren't passing out the discount coupons for $5 off $25 or more. Does anyone have a scan of the coupon? And willing to share.
  6. Was at my TRU today and no coupon books either. I asked a manager and he said he "had no idea". Glad to hear that they will be available Sunday.
  7. Thanks! Hopefully, I will get one in the mail. They sure get enough of my money. :)
  8. Hi! Does anyone know if TRU has a coupon for this weekend? I enjoyed the one from last weekend. I had been getting the coupons via email, until last week. I got that one from here. :)
  9. I know you asked about online, but did want to also mention that BJ's had it with the extra 100 pc bonus pack.

    Wal-Mart Prices

Just wanted to mention an experience from last year. Before BF I had several Layaways at WM. During BF I went to WM with their ad for a special on Build Your Own Lightsaber. I asked for a PM. They Layaway people told me that it would adjust the price when the item was paid for and taken off layaway. A few weeks later I went to pick up the Layaway. And to my surprise it didn't adjust the price. It might have changed from last year. But, we didn't get the extra discount. If I would have known or been told during BF I would have bought ones then and saved like $10. Just wanted to mention.
  11. I am so happy to hear about all the success stories using the coupon. I love coupons and I love great deals also. My TRU is giving me such problems about the coupon. I even talked to the manager and she said they weren't taking anything printed off the computer. They did let me use it once but said no more. I don't want to keep making a fuse day after day (and I shop there a lot) but the manager made it seem like it was a TRU policy. If that is the case then why are some TRU's doing it? I think I will try a different TRU in the next town and see if they will take it. I wish everone great bargin hunting and hopeful I will get to use this great coupon also.
  12. My TRU in PA has said no printed coupons will be accepted. Anyone else having this problem?
  13. Hi! Last year TRU had spend $75 and get a $10 gift card. I would go every couple of days and spend $75 by BF I had 8-$10 gift cards. I was at TRU today I tried using a printed coupon for the $5 off $25 and was told no printed coupons. So I then asked if you needed to have the coupon from the Toy Book to get the $10 gift card when you spend $75. I was told that you have to have the coupon from the book or you don't get the gift card. Items are cheaper at Wally World and Target then at TRU but using coupons and then getting a $10 gift card makes them a little cheaper at TRU, but I only have 2 of the coupons from the Toy Books saying you can get a $10 gift card for every $75 purchase. Any other TRU's giving the $10 gift cards w/o the coupon? I know that TRU has to protect itself from scam coupons and such, but it seems like they are making it so hard for me to want to spend my money there.

    Diego?

There are several Diego items out in stores now. Well, of course not the talking one but other cute items. Like the poseable Diego (retail $4.99), Diego Lego sets (retail around $5.99-$7.99), Diego Animal Rescue Set ($12.99-$14.99), and Diego holiday ornaments at Target ($4.99). Sure hope this is helpful.
  15. Wow! This is really going to be interesting when the ad comes out. I live in PA. Within 15 minutes of my house are 3 Walmarts. All 3 have different prices EVERYDAY. You can go to one where a toy is 24.99, but then go to another Walmart the same day and the same toy is $19.99. They match other stores ads but will not match the price of another Walmart. That stinks. So on one side of town a computer could be $488 and 10 minutes away in the same state like $500. It's crazy!
