If they do have any type of deal with used DS lite systems, it will be a bundle that includes a couple of games at least. They've done that in the past with all of the used consoles as well.

I am really surprised that there ad isn't out yet, or at least not around any of the stores in my area. Has anyone else seen or heard anything other than Buy 2 Get 1 Free?

All Gamestops and EB Games stores should allow to return pre-played games within 7 days, which should be displayed at the registers. If not, you may want to call their corporate office for clarification.

Did anyone make it out to the new outlet center this weekend? I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed with some of the sales and would have been better off going to their other property, Jackson Premium Outlets. The parking at this facility was horrible and probably could turn out to be a nightmare during the holiday shopping season. Matt

Several sources within a few of the EB Games and Gamestop stores near me have stated that the Buy 2 Get 1 Free pre-played sale will be in effect during Thanksgiving weekend. This is a deal in which stores will sell a lot of merchandise, especially if they intend on purchasing a console at that time. Having worked for EB Games for 7 years, I strongly urge anyone who purchases any used games to check the disc to make sure it isn't scratched before you leave the store. Matt

The first thing I do on Thanksgiving day is to make a pile of ads of those stores where I need to shop. Next, I will arrange them in order by what time they will open and what stores are closer to each other if they open at the same time. After that, I will begin to circle items in those stores and prioritize them as to what may be sold out first. My goal is to have this done by 10pm, so that my wife and I are on the road by 11pm to head to the Jackson Outlets that open at midnight. Aside from the ads and Christmas lists, it is absolutely imperative that all cell phones are fully charged when you are shopping with more than one person.

They will probably be the only ones with a Starbucks that won't have a long line waiting for coffee.

I did not see a website specifically for the outlet stores. Unless they participate in any of the sales in which the entire outlet center is involved (BF Midnight Madness for example), I guess I would be wasting my time there. What I found interesting (and irritating) is that Dick's Sporting Goods will not honor a $10 off $75 coupon if used on any Under Armour merchandise. Maybe I'm better off buying on eBay?

My wife and I went 6 years ago and was not impressed at all. Their version of "snow" on Main Street was nothing more than soap...which got me in the eyes several times. Unless you are a die hard Disney fan, you really aren't missing anything.

Has anyone been to any of the Under Armour outlets? By the first week of November, there will be one opening near me at the Jackson Outlets and another in the new Philadelphia Outlet center. I am curious as to what kind of merchandise is sold at these stores and at what prices. Thanks! Matt

I went with my wife last year on Black Friday for the first time and it was quite an experience. After spending 8 years behind the register in the mall, I finally got the chance to be part of the crowds and stand in lines. There are many females in my office who admire me for going out that day and helping my wife shop, but then again, I am also looking for some deals for myself.

Last year was the first time I actually experienced Black Friday as a consumer, rather than an employee where I worked at a mall for 7 years. My wife and I went up to the Outlet Mall in Jackson, NJ where they had a midnight opening for over 75% of the entire mall. After a couple of hours, we headed home and unloaded the car. Around 3:00AM, I took my car to Best Buy and my wife went to the local shopping mall and waited in line at KB Toys. Hopefully, the outlets will have the same sale again this year, as we got some really good deals at a few stores. The only thing is that we felt like the oldest ones there, since there were many high school students roaming around.

I think this is the first time they are trying this promotion of having most of their stores open at midnight. After reviewing the discounts that each store is having during the midnight opening, it is going to be the starting point (the Jackson Outlets are about 30 minutes from my house) of our Black Friday shopping. I would think that 11:45pm is a safe bet, but I guess it depends upon what store you want to try first.

Here in Moorestown, NJ, we have the following stores all within walking distance: Best Buy Comp USA Circuit City Home Depot Old Navy K-Mart Boscov's Sears KB Toys EB Games/Gamestop Macy's and 2 Targets 5 minutes each way from these stores

Boscov's is one of the more popular department stores here in South Jersey. They have a very good selection of clothing and appliances and always have coupons in the paper on a weekly basis. Boscov's is also known for its return policy, where they take anything back, regardless if you have a receipt or not.
