Bumping this because I was just wondering if anyone that ordered this magazine on this date (Jan 26, 2008) received any issues yet. I have ordered several magazines from this site but this was the first subscription that I ordered and I still haven't received my first issue. About two weeks after this I ordered Men's Fitness for my DH and he has received 3 issues already! I'm really anxious to receive this. I ordered this same magazine a couple weeks ago as a gift for my Dad and I didn't tell him about it. I was hoping it would just show up as a surprise for him and now I'm wondering if it will show up at all!!

My sister is currently using one. My cousin bought it because he is currently in the process of going through a Russian adoption and the sole purpose for him buying it is to use it while in Russia. He gave it to my sister to the remainder of the time. She calls me using it all the time. I guess she had a few problems with the initial set up but finally figured that out. The only problems we have had in about 20 conversations using it thus far is that you get a random beeping sound coming from her end. It sounds like someone is pressing one of the numbers periodically on the number pad on her phone. We got cut off once. However, the majority of the time it is a clear sound. I would say it is definitely worth the money for the price they charge.

Yes. You can return them at any Sears store or any Lands End Inlet if you have one near you.

Have you tried calling or emailing their customer service number and asking them what the status is of your order?
I've emailed them through the customer service link on their website and still haven't gotten a response more than 24 hours later but I think I figured it out. They say they won't ship to me because my paypal account is unverified. I'm not even sure what that means. I've been using my paypal account since 1998 and never had a problem. I placed my order a third time using my mastercard through their site and it looks like it is going through as the status says "sent to warehouse" I just ordered through paypal because I didn't want to run to my purse downstairs to get my mastercard. That'll teach me for being lazy!

Has anyone ever had problems making a purchase from Buy.com? I get updates from them via email all the time with weekly specials. Yesterday I received an email saying that they had the McAffee Internet Security - 3 user on sale for $14.99 with free shipping. I ordered it, paid via paypal last night and thought it was a done deal. I woke up this morning to check my email and found an email from Paypal telling me that my money was refunded from Buy.com. No explanation, etc. I immediately went back to their site and reordered and the money was again refunded. This time I went back and ordered it using my Mastercard. Don't know the status of that order yet. If they were OOS it shouldn't let you purchase it. Anyone else ever have this problem with Buy.com?

For anyone that is interested in any of the above shoes, if you go to your local Sears store or Lands End outlet and place the order from there the shipping is free. I called the online customer service when I couldn't get any of the above codes to work and she said they are expired but that a new fs code would be coming out on Tuesday. I didn't want to wait until Tuesday and risk not getting the sizes I need (overstocks were going fast!.) Picked up three pairs of summer shoes/sandals for DS as well as a pair of winter boots for next year for DS and an exercise top for myself! Great deals in the overstocks - even better with free shipping!

Just a quick tip. Although they have version 2.0 out there. Buy the 1.5 and install it on your computer. Microsoft will automatically upgrade you to version 2.0 for FREE. Just like they send you updates to upgrade with their MSN Messenger. So no need to buy version 2.0. Thanks again noehlp.
Thanks so much annmarie for the tips! Think I'll have to order it. My virus software expires March 5! Perfect timing! Too bad I don't have any of these stores in my area but it is still a good deal with shipping.

Picked up a few things in the dollar spot for 50% off. Also found a trunk organizer - nylon bag that has three smaller sized bags (one of them a cooler bag) that goes in it. Reg. 49.99 for $6.24. Also got the Mr. Magorium's book and sock monkey set for $3.74. 2pk Men's briefs reg $9.99 for $2.48, 2pk ladies panties reg 9.99 for $2.48, Palmolive dish liquid $1.74. Not a bad day but I really had to scrounge for those deals.

Thanks for the heads up on this one! I have a tupperware cupcake keeper that I hate because it only holds 18 cupcakes so I always have some leftover from making a box cake mix that I either have to eat right away or find another container for! Now I can have all the room I need! Thanks again!

Yes, we had this problem. We didn't get Kohl's, Sears, Lowe's, Big Lots or ACE. Those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head! Also, our newspaper raised their price from the daily rate of 50 cents to $1.75 for the Thanksgiving issue! Normally even the thanksgiving paper is only 50 cents.

Clearance was almost non existant at my store but I did come away with one great deal. I picked up the Presto Professional griddle. Orig $34.99 for $4.24. I've never seen a mark up that low before, that's about 88% off.

Thanks so much for this info. We live in WI and my Mom's husband went to Wal-mart to buy the HD DVD player and was surprised to find out that it was $185 due to our crazy minimum mark up law. I think he will be buying this one and returning the Wal-mart one! Thanks again!
