  1. I wrap each item as soon as it is bought and then place it on a shelf in my Christmas gifts walk in closet (closet is devoted just to Christmas gifts and starts getting stuff wrapped and labeled the day after Christmas for the following year. I have all the outside family members done and just need to finish up my 5 kids (who are teenagers and older) as their stuff is on the more pricey side.

Oh and for those of you that haven't done it...it's really easy to have your location on your username info...go under User Profile and Edit Options and add your location...it makes it so much easier for the rest of us when somone posts and we are able to see where they are located!!
  6. What in the world is a "Build a porn party" game for DS??? TIA
  7. Agree with previous poster..I got my DS 18 the new IPOD for Christmas and he is on it nonstop..it will give us directions, phone numbers, allows him to text and chat with friends, log on to Facebook and Yahoo, keep track of his work schedule AND listen to his music..lol...I just couldn't believe how much he uses it..he even downloaded the drivers ed textbook on it and is studying that way!! Great buy..oh and we are a Zune house too, but the new Ipod Touch totally blows our Zunes out of the water!!

  9. CoNgRaTs!!! to all who won and thank you so much for posting all the great deals...not just during the Christmas season..but you all help me save money all year round!!!
  10. I have the 32 inch Westinghouse LCD TV (bought from HSN 5 years ago) in our beddroom and we love it...it has never gone out on us and is still working just as beautifully as the day we took it out of the box!! It is definitly a good buy since I paid over $700 for mine back then!
  11. My kids love their Wii...they use it every day to get online with the Wii Live options...we bought a $10 card and they purchased the online option with this and so my daughter surfs online all she wants!!
  12. I have run around all over the St. Louis/St. Charles area since yesterday morning looking for this TV...even when they did the item locator and it showed in stock at another store, once I got to that store they would tell me they had all been sold yesterday and the system just hadn't updated..at one store I missed the last TV by mere minutes...I am so bummed I lost 2 days looking for one and didn't find any! Oh and I checked: Brentwood, Hampton, Kirkwood, South County, Bridgeton, Ballwin, St. Charles (Mexico Ave), Ferguson, Florrisant, St. Charles Rock Road, and Lindbergh...now I am going to try Illinois!! Wish me luck!!
  13. Found Elmo Live at 75% off today so $14.99!!! Had to get 2 for the neices!! Doing the happy dance!!
  14. Target, Walmart, Best Buy!!! Ughhhhhhh!!!!! Shouldnt we have had something by now?????? I am giong nuts trying to figure out where to buy and if to buy now or wait!!! I remember in past years we always had at least a couple to look at by now....and it's almost November in 10 days....how long are theses companies going to try and keep this under wraps...most of us need time to save up some $$ to buy the things we want/need!!! Ughhhhhhhhh:(
  15. Our Target stores are already open until 11 p.m. here in St. Louis.
  16. Last year I had my two boys (17 and 15) camp out in front of Walmart ever since Tuesday of Thanksgiving week....I set them up with a tent, some spending money and their handheld games and Ipods. I would go stay with them at night and part time of the day, but I was so scared someone else would come and take our place...so this went on all day Tuesday and Wednesday..then I traded places with them on Thanksgiving day...Here's the kicker~~~we were still the only ones there right up until about 11 p.m. Thanksgiving night...lol, there was no need for us to be out there that early!! Lesson learned.
  17. The UPC is 6 8805734657 1...It is a Haier 5200 BTU w/window curtain...hope you find it!!
  18. I am still waiting on the digital cameras to go 75% as well....only the video cameras (Disney) were 75% off at the 5 stores I visited today...did find 2 window air conditioners for $27.xx..so not too bad of a day, now if the cameras would only go down.
  19. Camp Rock stuff at 75% off...got the twin comforters for $7xx and the full size comforter for $10.xx...also the twin sheets for $4.xx...didn't find any of the full sheets, but was pretty happy as my girl's beds needed new bedding!!! Took long enough to get there!
  20. Looking for 2 laptops or netbooks..whichever is the better deal...already put 2 DSi on layaway at Sears yesterday so that one is taken care of as well as all the neices and nephews, but maybe a couple of Team Edward of Twilight stuff for DD14 and some collegiate stuff (UofT) for DS18...everyone else is already done!!
  21. I would hope so...we camped out for 2 days and it was still ridiculous having to fight the mob to get the stuff we wanted...a ticketing system would be just perfect and give me a couple extra hours sleep in the tent after they get handed out :)
  22. Great thread!!! For me it would have to be the Stick Vac last year at Walmart...what a joke..the thing doesnt pick up anything..Topsy Turvy things...didnt work at all...and the Aerogarden..what a joke, I could never get anything to grow in that thing and it was supposed to be sooo simple with just dropping the pods in and watering the base.
  23. St. Louis Missouri!!! More like the Clayton, Brentwood, Richmond Heights area!!
  24. Have about 75% done...was able to do really well with the Target toy clearance and the recent Tag readers and books clearance as well!! Now just looking for the bigger electronic items: digital camera, Nikon camera, Touch Zune player, laptop/minilaptop and DSi. Pretty sure the best deal I will find on those will be on black Friday!!!
