  1. http://www.gottadeal.com/Coupons/Store/Searscom There's also a $35 off $350 out there if you are spending that much.
  2. A standard agency given coin is just shy of 1.75" diameter. However, 1.5" is also common, especially if bought on their own (outside of the agency's official coin contract). I have a military coin that is actually in between those as well. Many groups or teams do up their own coin to show off something unique about themselves or because the agencies restrict access to purchasing the agency coin (its usually given as a reward, sign of service or some other symbol, so they aren't available to just anyone). In most of these cases, the smaller coin is purchased and used to trade, give to friends, etc. So without knowing, if it's an official Navy coin, it could be the 1.75" but maybe the officer buys them to give out as his own sort of reward as well. It might sound weird, but it's VERY common. Originally they started only as a circular "coin," but as he collects more, he will find they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes now. I have one that is a paw shape for the K-9's and multiple in the shapes of badges. Round 1.75" is still the most common though. There are actually quite a few histories about the coins, no one really knows the "true" one. One goes back to Roman times even. PP poster stated a Vietnam era tradition that is pretty common today, rules vary by different groups, agencies or departments though. I forgot to add that as a challenge coin, it must remain a "coin." I doubt this to be a problem for your JROTC guy, but making it a key ring is against most challenge rules (its then considered a keychain and not a coin, same as those who make them into belt buckles). If he's going to use it like that, I'd just keep it a coin in his wallet. He can always pop it out of the key ring when he gets older and wants it as a challenge coin too.
  3. They are not all universal if you are encasing it. I collect challenges coins and have a few sizes. Sometimes a case will have a foam insert and you remove rings until it fits your size. If you go with a stand almost all coins will fit the grooves. But sounds like he only has the one?
  4. Maybe I`m confused. Pictionary is a uDraw game. Is there another way to play as well? I`d love to know. i bought uDraw planning to add on Pictionary. So if there is a way to do it without buying the game that would be great.
  5. The Pictionary game on the XBox, not the uDraw itself, just the interaction. Other uDraw games had better reviews so it seems to be strictly Pictionary. On Amazon the Wii version (of Pictionary, not uDraw) has 4.5 stars, Xbox has 2.5. Wii is almost more than double the price. If a Wii game costs more than Xbox, it's usually a sign. Wii reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Pictionary-Udraw-Nintendo-Wii/product-reviews/B003ZTP95O/ref=sr_1_1_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1 XBox reviews: http://www.amazon.com/uDraw-Pictionary-Ultimate-microsoft-xbox-360/product-reviews/B0056WJA3A/ref=sr_1_2_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1 If you have both systems and Pictionary is a big reason, Wii might be the way to go. I went the wrong way, lol.
  6. If you are buying for XBox, beware of the reviews on Pictionary. They are all really really bad. I bought this a few weeks ago for our XBox with the intention of also buying Pictionary but after reading reviews at multiple places I decided not to waste the money. I'm keeping the uDraw and original game and hoping maybe for a patch. I have not looked at the Wii version so that might be a lot better.
  7. How about adopting an elephant for him? Depending on who you do it through I've seen them as low as $15 and as high as $50. I know $50 was over budget but i saw one place for $15 and for $25 it came with a plush. Lots of wildlife companies do it. Also, a local zoo may do it too. Mine does. Or a nice poster like PP said. Allposters.com has 25% off everything now (use code ZTWE25, expires today). You could pay the option to get it framed or take it to Micheal's with a coupon and frame it there. Search for "elephant" http://www.allposters.com/gallery.asp?startat=%2Fgetthumb.asp&txtSearch=elephant&CID=44C4146F041B4B549B0510F3A0454F74 I also see this at Amazon, nice snow globe $17.50. It's a little small though, only desktop size. http://www.amazon.com/Globe-Elephant-Collection-Figurine-Decoration/dp/B003EVU8RW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1354757258&sr=8-5&keywords=elephant http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Be7mEIZcL.jpg

  9. TY...Didn't sound like an idiot at all Any idea what time it changes? I'm on the west coast and checked all morning long until after noon (3PM EST) and it still said Dec. 3. When I came home around 7PM it had changed to Dec. 4 on it's own (without reloading the site). I thought that was kind of late.

  20. They also have if you put $25 on a gift card you get a free 6 inch, which you can save for another time or use right then. You can use the GC right away on the current purchase.
