    too soon?

    wooohooo!!!! Let's get started!!!!!
  2. If you live in an area where there is freecycle, you should put a post on there. You are bound to get a bunch for free.
  3. duh...I guess it would help to post a little more info. I'm thinking 15" or maybe 20". Would love a LCD, but I'm pretty sure they are going to be too pricey. (But, cost might outweight the fact that we don't have lots of space and a LCD would take up less space)
  4. DS has a b-day coming this summer and I would like to get him a new TV. His his close to dead--the sound went out this week. I am looking for a low cost TV for his bedroom. Any suggestions or ideas?
  5. I know that Target sale tons of their salvage stuff to salvage liquidator stores. We have one here in MS called Hudsons (Dirt Cheap) and they operate several stores to resale stuff they buy from other stores.
  6. Woot is a "deal a day" site. The post up one deal starting at midnight (CST) and sale it until it is gone or the 24 hr. period is up. Then next deal is not offered until the following midnight. When there is a woot off, they post a new deal as soon as the old one sales out. Usually a woot off goes for a couple or few days. A BOC is also known as "random crap". You will see all kinds of people referring to it as a "bag of carrots", or anything that they can write that is b_____ of c_____....The boxes sell of 1.00 and you are allowed to buy 3 at a time. Good luck getting one. They sale out almost immediatly. You can go to youtube and find video of people opening thier BOC. I think people also list on this board what they've gotten in their BOC, usually it is well worth the money.
  7. it this the only thing they are going to sell today...these battery packs have got to be the April Fools joke--I'll be they have a million of them to sale
  8. Well, it's up now. :) Wonder if it'll keep going through the night tonight. How long does the average woot-off last, I can't remember.
  9. Any deal/recommendations of a good, but inexpensive vacuum cleaner? Ours is pretty old and suck...well, actually it doesn't...it kind of blows (more dust into the air)
  10. Star Wars Lego- The Complete Saga --- ton of play - kids love it (dd 9 and ds 5) Boogie (dd and I play this some) Mario Party 8 -- the neighbor kids play this when they come over so everyone can play
  11. I searched http://www.howardforums.com and learned how to make ringtones and upload them on my phone for free.
  12. Yipppeee---our Target (Flowood, MS) went to 75 off this moring. Thanks to a fellow gottadeal-er who sent me an email, I found out and headed out about 10:30 a.m. I got a buggy load of stuff and spent 178.xx!!!!!!!!!
  13. When I started reading the post from today, I was so excited...I asked/told DH he might need to keep the kids tonight while I run out to Target...I ran to my phone and called the store....no such lucK--toy are still 30-50 off
  14. That's it...thanks...wish Walmart still had them, they were way, way cheaper.
  15. I can't seem to find what I'm looking for...it is a outdoor decoration. It is a metal tree (I think it comes with two or three trees) that is lighted with blue, green, and red (I think). It plays music and the lights flash to the music (something like transiberian orcherstra). Does anyone know the name of that think, I've had no luck finding it online. Thanks
  16. I second http://www.vrbo.com for house rentals. We stayed at Indian Creek and it was awesome!!! http://www.intercot.com is the best site I've found IMHO for doing Disney trip planning. We did a timeshare tour once. Got a great rate on a very nice Condo and free tickets to the waterpark. BUT BE WARNED -- it is no where close to a 30 minute or even 90 minute (most say 90 min) presentation. Ours turned into a high-high pressure 3 hour presentation--I finally got so mad I just stood up and told the guy that there was no way I was buying a timeshare TODAY and his time was up. I suggest saying that at the end of the 90 minutes (or whatever the agreed upon time it) - I would definately do a timeshare tour again (for the free tickets or whatever), but I would take a stop watch and tell them I agreed to 90 minutes and their time starts NOW...and click that sucker and just sit there and nod my head and agree that yes, it sounds wonderful...yes, it would be great...oh...wait, your time's up. Thanks for the presenation...GOOD BYE
  17. DD9 Hits-- Wii Boogie (hit for me too :)) Eyeclops RC dragonfly Misses - - I-CY DS5 Hits - Hot Wheels Blast and Crash (maybe for another week) Flippin Frogs No Brainer Misses - Pirannah Panic Air Hogs RC Heil (was fun until it stopped working )
  18. I know people who take their Christmas ornaments off and put up Mardi Gras (purple and gold) decorations/ornaments and then take it down in late Feb....I would do that if I lived on the coast or in LA
  19. Those are really great idea...I'm sure I'll be doing that. However, I do usually have a couple of yard sales (one in the spring and one in the fall) and then I donate the rest - there is always tons of great stuff left.
  20. We usually take ours down on the 1st or 2nd of Jan. However, this year, we'll be coming back from "Christmas" and New Years celebration (all in one) at my mom's and then washing clothes and heading to DH's family. I'll probably wait until we get back - plus looks like we might be moving and it might make a difference in how I decide to pack up -- I have lots of stuff and may be getting rid of some of it.
  21. They've certainly made a loyal customer out of me.
