Fall has definitely arrived here. Yesterday was 88°, today it’s 60°

100 days until Christmas! I went to a small town Walmart yesterday and they had all clearance clothing & shoes for $1. The lines were like Black Friday, it was crazy in there.

And just like that…pumpkins everywhere [emoji23][emoji262][emoji260][emoji316]

I spent August cleaning out my attic. 2 trips to the dump, 1 trip to recycling and multiple free posts on FB Marketplace later…it looks great. Now to tackle the garage….[emoji51]

How is it almost August?! I feel weird since it’s my 1st year with no kid going back to school or college.

Happy April! Still coldish here but the grass has turned green and my bulbs haves sprouted. Looks like Spring is finally arriving. [emoji255]

Where did March go?! It’s been a good month. DS1 got a great job offer, DS2 finished his grad school capstone project (he defends it on Monday) and DD bought a house.

I started tomatoes in my AeroGarden last week. [emoji534]

I hate the new shipping rules. My nearest K’s is 20 miles away so store pickup isn’t convenient. My other problem with Kohl’s was the amount of items that no longer qualify for coupons. It seems like everything that is a “name brand” is now excluded when it used to be just the big names like Nike, Apple, KitchenAid. I barely shopped there this year. I spent under $200.

I just realized I never bought a ham for Christmas dinner. Hopefully, the stores still have some tomorrow or we will be serving chicken nuggets….which would probably be more popular anyway LOL

Nothing is ready, nothing is baked, nothing is wrapped. I finally got a tree up over the weekend. My dog fell in November and ruptured a disk so most of my focus (and money)has been on getting him to walk again. Christmas is an afterthought at this point. Thankfully, everyone is an adult so I’m not seriously disappointing anyone.

Hello December! All but one of my BF purchases have shipped. Now I need the motivation to deal with wrapping and decorating.
