  1. Well Bealls is pulling their famous canceling of the order deals now... :( I had placed 2 separate orders, one for me and one for my daughter. I rec'd an email about 30 minutes ago stating (no reason given) that they will not be shipping her order! Here is a copy of what they sent....and now, the savings of the $10 on $25 cannot be used again since it was used on this order! Nice ins't it of Bealls do do this... urgh!!! the least they could do is allow the code to work for us since they aren't shipping this order!

We are unable to ship these items & you will not be charged for these items:

  3. In case nobody else has posted this... the Samsung 55" TV advertised as a 120 Hz TV is actually a 240 Hz... great deal at $799

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung+-+55%26%2334%3B+Class+(54-5/8%26%2334%3B+Diag.)+-+LED+-+1080p+-+120Hz+-+HDTV/6846823.p?id=1218809154532&skuId=6846823

When reading the spec's on this TV, there were some Q&A's and here is what the answer was about the 120 vs to the 240......http://reviews.bestbuy.com/answers/3545mha/content/popup.htm?bvpage=http%3A%2F%2Freviews.bestbuy.com%2Fanswers%2F3545mha%2Fproduct%2F6846823%2Fquestions.htm%3Fformat%3Dembedded%26sort%3Dhelpfula%26dir%3Ddesc

I'm sorry for the confusion, but the UN55EH6001 actually offers a 120Hz panel with a Clear Motion Rate of 240. CMR is Samsung's more comprehensive and accurate measure for TV motion clarity. As a company, Samsung does not feel that the Hz of a panel alone is a completely accurate measure of the motion quality that can be produced by the Samsung LED TVs. Thus, Samsung uses three key points to help produce world-class motion clarity:

    * Panel refresh rate: Samsung's screen refresh rate significantly improves motion detail and resolution by sampling the image more frequently, leading to smoother, more fluid movement.

    * Image processor: Samsung's proprietary image processing technology is faster and more responsive than conventional image processors, as it interpolates intermediate frames to smooth out the image.

    * Backlight technology: Samsung's backlight regulates output precisely in synchronization with the screen refresh to lessen the time it is lit, reducing ghosting and motion blur.

The Clear Motion Rate represents all of these features working in harmony to produce stunning motion clarity. Please note, the CMR rating is not a refresh rate. This means that the CMR of this set is 240, but it does not mean that it supports 240Hz.

so in actuality, it is not really a 240.

  4. I wanted to get the fax machine from them with the $50 rebate so I would end up paying only $9.99 for the fax. I gave up trying and purchased it at Office Max without a rebate, but paid $19.99.. oh well. At least I know I will at least be getting it :), and in the long run, I am only paying $10 more. My sister wanted one too, so we ordered together and got free shipping from Office Max :)
  5. see I was able to add to the cart, then when I went to click my cart, that was when I got unavailable. I tried to go back into the website then got the bad request message. I even x'd out totally and tried on a different browser. I use Google Chrome or Firefox, which ever seems to be running faster that day :g_laughin and it wouldn't work on either.......
  6. My daughter just told me, and I checked, Hollister is doing 40% off entire purchase and $5 shipping. They are running it now! She is going into it to shop :)
  7. I received an email saying 50% off in store only 12am-6am. 40% in store only from 6 am-until close and $15 hoodies 6 am-11am only.

same email I got too.. and it doesn't state anything about online :(
  8. Is anyone else getting the message that the website for Staples is unavailable? Sometimes I can get it, but the minute I click on something it goes to either Bad Request (Invalid Hostname) or this website is unavailable please try to reload at a later time???????
  9. My boyfriend got a Samsung a few years back - it lasted about 2 months past it's warranty, then the screen was shot. He took it back to Best Buy (now known as "Worst Buy" to his 5 yr old). They refused to do ANYTHING for him - the guy wouldn't take 10% off the new TV purchase OR throw in free delivery. I think that the company should have done better since the TV was barely over a year old, and a $1700 purchase.

I got my Sony at Ultimate Electronics before they clsed down, so we've owned it about 3 years maybe? So far, so good. It is a model or 2 above what you get in Walmart, but not their top-of0the-line. It's got a BEAUTIFUL picture, clear, and the colors are vivid. We use it with the BluRay and everything looks gorgeous. Would recommend another.

I believe it is the Sony KDL-52V5100, but not 100% positive. It's probably not marketed any more, but I love mine and would definitely consider another model from them.

we had a $2100 (plus extra warranty bringing it close to $2800 with taxes) Samsung and it died literally days just before the extended warranty ran out, but I didn't call on time for them to come out, I was away (my 19 year old was home). Best Buy was super with me. They put me in contact with their "Public Defender Team" since the problem that it died from had been addressed before while still under their extended warranty. In fact, it had been addressed twice before. With the help of them, I got a replacement TV but I did have to pay $539 with the tax and 4 year extended warranty.. they gave me every single discount they could think of to bring it down to this price. TV was not as good as the one that had died, it was only $1400 to begin with, but at least I wasn't out totally. It would have ran me $800 to fix the old one. Since the problem had happened 3 times in less than 4 years, no one recommended fixing it.

  10. Now only the white is $169.99 this isn't going to help me, I just ordered the Professional Series off of QVC last week with their flex pay for $259 and the $30 rebate. Oh well, I guess I am getting a bigger one, more wattage and the flex edge beater blade attachment. I would have gotten this one had I not ordered from QVC. For me, it really would have not made that much of a difference if I had the smaller one.
  11. thanks for the help... I mistook it as all clearance items.. as their little sign showed in the post...http://shop.mlb.com/cms_widgets/66/09/660945_assets/317x149_50_Clear.jpg It didn't state on their ad that it was "select items", but they did say "in clearance" and when I put in clearance, I got nothing for my search.

I used their clearance link, then searched NY METS and I got all items on "sale" for the Mets, then saw that item.. so their ad is misleading.. it isn't all clearance.. I did find it on the clearance link of their site...

It appears that the selected items for the additional 50 off are already marked 50% off.. not just "clearance"

Here is the sites link to clearance..http://shop.mlb.com/category/index.jsp?categoryId=1503844&cp=1503844 If you follow that, you will see there are many other items on sale, just not those selected few for the additional 50% off....

  12. it isn't working for me... I put my item in the cart and it only took off the percentage it is advertising on it's site..
