DD is turning sweet 16 in March and wants to spend the night at the Hard Rock Hotel and go to Islands of Adventure. Has anyone seen any good deals out there for FL residents?
Thanks!
March is Mardi Gras.. usually aren't any great deals out then. I know in the summer is when they normally (when they do it) have the annual pass deals.. you get 2 years for the price of 1. This year they did it & you did not have to activate it until Dec. I ended up not getting one this time around & now am sorry. As far as the hotels. If you go onto their web site & put in FLO as the rate code, that will bring up any Fl resident rates they have.... by the way, she has good taste We love the Hard Rock! You can't beat the walk to the parks from there.

You sound like me :) mine are 14 & 18.. they go to the clearence first, then over to the regular.. usually end up buying in the clearence. They shop at AE. Hollister, A&F, Aero, Wet Seal & PacSun. My younger also shops at AgroBoth of my girls shop at aero(15 & 19) but I have taught them to head straight for the clearance racks. Shopping later in the season saves quite a bit and if they wait and shop at the end of the season, they clean up. My older dd is real good at finding jeans for $9.xx and shirts for $2.xx.

Does this include air? The $1600 package I've seen on TV does. Hubby just said those dates would work for us, I'm checking into it tomorrow! Thanks
I don't think the one you saw on TV includes the air. When ever Disney does a commercial, it is only for them, no air included. That $1600 commerical you saw was for a family of 4, 7 nights value resort & park tickets.

seems none of the stores that advertised midnight have gotten to lowering the price to the BR price.. I have check all that said they were

can't you just have it shipped to the store for free & then pick up there? That's right. No one knows what the s/h charges will be though. Everything I want is available online so that's the route I'm going too.

I was on about an hour ago & on just now.. I had no problems getting on either??

I didn't think that Target sold Coach at all???!!!

I just noticed one of the things I bought about a week & a half ago is going to be onsale, early bird. I didn't realize until just now. I had plans on returning it anyway since I figured I would be able to get it on BF cheaper...it's the orb blaster for the I-pod... I paid $49, ad says $39 (early bird)...however, that store is not on my list for first thing in the am. If I make it before the early bird sale ends & they give me a price adjustment, I will keep it, if not, I am returning it.

They have already marked everything down plus 5.95 flat shipping
that is exactly what I was going to say I just left their website...so then tomorrow that means the shipping will be free...I guess???

I know what you mean. I was wondering the same thing. It has the walmart.com under it, then you click the item & it is in store only...

If you plan on updating to Vista, you will need your memory. It will take up much of it. HP told me to run it properly, I will need a 1gb memory.. and that was talking about the $398 walmart deal. If you do a check on that memory, you will come up with only 328 or 382mb's.. can't remember which. The reason the memory is so low is because they loaded that particular model up with a ton of games. You need to delete them to get some of your memory back.I am not sure what types of programs people are putting on their laptops but mine is great. I use it for all my daily transactions and have never had a problem. I have also installed microsoft office w/frontpage, indesign, and pagemaker and am planning to install photoshop and I have had no problems with memory. Why do people need so much memory? If you are trying to store a lot of music or movies, they may do the trick, but my husband has an external hard drive for those things.
While you may not need more memory, others do. I know my kids (teens & young adult) save a slew of pictures & songs, that eats up memory!

Happened to me on salad that went bad ... my daughter took it back, without the rec't & they said no... come on $3.98 and they said no. When she came home I was fuming. I looked thru my recp'ts.. found it called them & went back .. probably spent more in gas doing that but it was the principal .... salad.. and you need a rec't:mad: the only reason why I had it was that it had something else on it that I needed to save it for.
Wal-mart use to allow 3 returns per 12 month period without a rec'pt. Target is 3 per LIFETIME and that is just nuts. There are countless times I misplace my recpts. At least with Target, if you pay by check or credit card & misplace your rec'pt, they can look it up on their computer.. Wal-mart cannot do that

I know some people are worried about items selling out before you get there but has anyone thought of buying the item anytime earlier in the week and just going back anytime during their sale and getting a price adjustment? They do that for their regular sales within two weeks of buying the item and last year I bought two items that I knew would be on sale on BF and just went back to customer service and got the difference between the regular price and the sale price back. It's probably what I'll do again this year to avoid the rush. And if you get a really moody employee who lies and says they can't do that you can just return the item right there and purchase it again. :)
Just my little tip!
My Target will not let you rebuy anything you returned that went down lower. I bought a photo album. It went down to like a $1.50. The woman would not give me the price difference so I returned it & then told her I wanted to buy it. She would not give it to me. She told me that it would have to go back out onto the floor for me to do that & it would be at least 90 minutes before it went back out there. I said ok.. I walked away and proceeded to go shopping. About 10 minutes later I see that same cust service woman. She had the photo album in her hand, walking to put it away. I waited until she put it down then I walked over & picked it up, smiled & walked to the register.. there was nothing she could do or say... it was back on the floor She really got me mad!

yes you will get it but you must first upgrade the memory. It will not run on the computer with all the games that are pre-downloaded. I have deleted all of my games & still will need to upgrade. I called HP & they said to really run Vist the way it should, you need 1GB... even though the Windows site says a 512mb is what is needed. Yeah, a 512 clean memory, not a 512 prior to loading a computer with anything else...

I heard on this mornings news (my local news) that Walmart will be slashing prices on their Electronics to help their slumping sales for this quarter. That was about it...
I am reading the link from above and it says that Walmart had a profit this quarter.. wonder why the conflicting info?? I really do not care as long as prices are "slashed" I am happy..

I did get the laptop and yes I did buy the warranty. Still deciding on the warranty, but I would not put this on my homeowners insurance. Small claims are a no no to insurance companies and will get you cancelled....so be careful if you do that.
I live in FL and have/had AllState & they are not renewing me as it is due to the hurricanes we had in the last 2 years. In Jan I am going into some pool insurance thru them... so yeah, I should not do that. I would never get homeowners then. I had not thought about that. You are right....
-
If you cover your laptop with a seperate rider on your homeowner's.. how do you collect if it isn't from an accident... say if it crashed & cannot be restored... they don't cover that do they? I didn't take out the extended policy. I usually do not take them out, but never really thought of doing it thru the homeowners...

while the HP site may say that these laptops can upgrade to Vista, I am on mine now & did a Visat compatible run.. guess what ...they aren't unless you upgrade many things on it. I am very upset, that is false advertising.. I am going to contact HP/Walmart about it.. they lied. Says that the computer must have a 512 memory, which these do..but when scan runs on it, says it is only 384... so must have at least 512 clear..not with anything on it the computer. It states that you need 1gig for optimal performance..
