We are taking our kids to Disney in Florida from Dec. 19 to Dec. 24th, but we still wanted to get them something for Christmas. My son has wanted an ipod touch for years and thought this year I could get him that as his Christmas present. Do you think I should buy now or wait for Black Friday? 4th Generation is fine and was only going to get him 8g. Opinions would be greatly appreciated :-)

I am looking for a camcorder for my 9 year old son. He does really well with p&s digital cameras and he wants to get into video now. What are some of the bf cheaper cameras? Want to spend a little but want it to take good videos for him.

I'm still fighting with the sears in canton, oh. I went in to price adjust on black friday and they refused. I even pulled up their policy on THEIR computers and showed them. Manager kept changing their excuse and then just said "well our policy is subject to change at any time." He said I could call corporate but they were going to tell me the same thing. Called corporate and they said he has to make it right and gave him 48 hours to resolve it which would have been 7:30am today. Called store and talked to the assist. manager who I also talked to on Friday and informed her. She said he was there but that since it was a doorbuster they weren't going to do it. I informed her that corporate stated he has to and that he had 48 hours to do so. She said she would give him the message but I highly doubt it. Any rate, I'm fighting it because it was on the washer/dryer set. That's $500+. I'm sure he doesn't want flack from national sears but who knows. Their office is closed today so I can't talk with anyone there. Anyone else have problems?

I have been watching the ds lites online now since about 1:30am. They have been sold out since then. What gives. It stated they would be available online. Are they really sold out before the sale even begins? Really!

How much do you think they will go down to? Seen in TRU book Star Wars DS Lite for 146. Do you think they will go lower for bf and if so can I buy now and get price diff. then?

Three Weeks With My Brother by Nicholas Sparks

I had a very good experience last year and a very bad experience my first year out. I'll tell you about my good experience though. It seemed everywhere I went last year everyone was kind and was smiling. I didn't go out extra early because I had planned to get there just 1/2 hour before store opened. Went to Kohls first and the line was long but they opened up extra early so I had time. Next went to Home Depot and only had to wait 15 minutes for them to open. Lines were VERY short and got everything I went in to get. Next went to Sears and waited about 20 minutes for them to open and got what I needed and was home again and went to bed for a couple hours before the kids woke up. It wasn't raining or snowing last year so that was an extra plus

Just wanted to let everyone know TSC - Tractor Supply Company has a lot more than tractors. They have REALLY great cast iron cookware and a lot of "farm" playsets, toys, and games. I found a builder game 2 yrs ago there and my son, now 6yrs, still plays with it. It is a lot of fun. Don't count them out :-)

Last year my husband and I went on the Monday or Tuesday before Thanksgiving and got what we wanted from the ad. Then on BF all I did was go in during the doorbuster time and got a price fix and walked back out. The customer service desk has to wait on customer service guests first before doing check out so I was probably in there about 15 minutes and my stuff was already hidden at home. YIPPEEE!!!! I called and asked them if they did this before I attempted it though. GL

Mine happend at Best Buy and it turned out well about a week later. I went to Best Buy to get dh a dvd player then my plan was to go to Walmart then Target then home. Well, I went to Best Buy and parked almost forever and a day away. I only needed the dvd player so I went back to look for them and a sales guy turned around without looking and bashed me in the face with a box. He hit me so hard that it broke my glasses and sent them flying, had a cut beside my eye due to the glasses breaking. It was an accident, I understand that but the idiot didn't even say "I'm sorry can I help you find your glasses". He just took off. A few other customers came over and asked if I was okay. One found my glasses and the lenses and the broken ear piece. One customer got a manager and he wanted me to fill out an accident report. I wouldn't have done anything except I was madder than a hornet that the sales associate didn't even apologize or ask if I was okay. So I spent over an hour in the office filling out a report, getting a band-aid for the side of my eye. The manager asked me what I was looking for and then he went to find one. They didn't have anymore of the dvd players that I was looking for so they sold me a 5-disc changer one which was a lot more expensive for the same price. He then told me to inform him of the charge to fix my glasses. I had to drive 30 miles to my eye doctor to get them fixed. I sent the info to Best Buy manager and he asked me what other sales I had missed because of the accident and the company gave me a check for the amount to fix my glasses and $200 for the items on my list that I didn't get. I thought that was really great since all I told him I wanted was an apology and for my glasses to be fixed. If the sales associate would have apologized I probably would have went on my way without the glasses being fixed. I haven't been back to Best Buy on BF since.
