I never thought of that...there's a Big Lots about an hour or hour and a half away. Might make it there this weekend. I spent $950 5 years ago on a used Lane sectional, now it's falling apart. Until the kids leave the house, i think I'll have to get cheap furniture!!

You can check out kitchen collection if you have one in your area. they sell remanufactured kitchenaids. I bought a 6QT pro model for around $235 five yrs ago. I'm sure the smaller machines are cheaper. Kitchencollection.com is their website, but I don't know if they sell the remanufactured machines there. :)

I was in sam's club last weekend and they had 2 or 3models on clearance for around $50.

I just did side-by-side comparisons of models from both Gateway and Dell. They were only $50 apart before rebates, that put Gateway less expensive, and they hadnicer software installed. I can get 2 laptops with printers for $1384 at gateway, vs. $1437 at Dell. Just FYI.

Yeah, what's BRU's? I posted somewhere else here about needing laptops and a sofa-loveseat set. I never thought about walmart...I did look at sam's club.

I've NEVER bought brand new furniture.... but I need a "small"" sofa and loveseat (70" and 60") and don't know whether to go to ArtVan, VanDrie, or any of those other big names. Who has the BEST deals...like clearance...on furniture? Mattresses? I need a new king that doesn't feel like a board! Also in August i plan on getting at least 1, possible 2 laptops for my sons. I was looking at Sam'sClub, but I'm not sure about HP products...I've always had Gateways. Where's the best place and time of year to purchase laptop computers? Thanks a million!

I've had the Rewards card for 3 yrs., but I always had more than $50 in my order anyway so I always had free shipping. It wasn't until last month that I put in a smaller order and was happy to see free shipping anyway. So I just thought it was a new gimmick. I'm not sure if they've always done that.

I got ours last February for $316 total from Columbia House (I had a membership req. to fullfill) then got Funcash to spend later. I don't know if it was the best price at the time, but it was an easy order. This also included the special movie-length DVD "The Gathering/In the Beginning". So 5 sets plus the extra DVD. Happy to see fellow B5 fans!!
