I was wondering what Country roast was....I like other Folgers kinds of roasts, but I wondered why that one was cheap. Thanks for the heads up, i'll stick with special roast or french roasts. I also love their flavored coffees....but those hardly ever go on sale!

Again, it depends on usage. I use mine for emergencies and the OCASSIONAL call....about 15 minutes a month at most....so tracfoneis easy. I bought mine off the website, got 40 free minutes, and just used the online coupon code for 120 minutes at the price of 60. So I've paid $40- $45 total (incl. the phone itself) since October-ish and I'm good until August. Works for me, at least unless my usage goes up. :)

They also gave me the option of extending it 30 days for $5 or 60 days for $10....I only use about 15 to 20 minutes a month so extending the minutes worked well for me. :) I'm good until August now.

It's up to the Curve's owners, but mine takes a yearly fee if you don't want to pay every month....$313 a year, which is $26.08 a month, a savings of $35 a year. They don't all do that! You'll just have to ask. This way, I always pay out of our tax refund so I'm not taking away from our bill-paying money for "my Curves thing."

I have to wait until they get a replacement Toshiba in on Monday but it's worth it. The Geek guy tried out a couple of DVDs and CDs and said there wasn't anything wrong. I brought in my Microsoft Works Suite discs and had him try it. The drive wouldn't read anything, growled, and then refused to spit it out. Uh huh.

OR... Should I try to get my money back and get oneof the other Toshibas for $499 with the 512 RAM and a 60 hard drive??? :cry2:

FYI.... Before I got around to installing extra RAM, I noticed increasing problems with one of the two laptops I bought last Monday. It won't read some discs, then it will, then it won't. Also the CD/DVD drive makes horrendous growling sounds....the other laptop doesn't. I haven't hada bit of trouble with that one, but this one is terrible. So I dug out my receipt and taking it back to BB tonight. At first I thought I'd have them put in a new drive, but nowI think I just want them to give me a new one in exchange. I hope they can do that! :( Can they do with computers? It's only been 7 days.

Also, I loaded Microsoft Works with Encarta onto one of the laptops, but it won't load onto the other! It gets to 3 bars and 53% at the beginning, then freezes. Huh? Any ideas?

If I wanted to drive down to Chicago (7 hrs), I could've got them(2) for $399, but I think I'd spend $100 on gas and extras.....and i'd have some fun too while I'm in the windy city. That's not cheap. : ) I should've had them upgrade the RAM while I was there for $50 each notebook, I thought I'd take it home and see if the kids really needed it for their stuff or not. They need it. It's always at 80-90% used. Now I'd have to pay the geek squad $60 each to install. No way. How difficult is it to put extra 256 cards in? Is it just in the back or do I have to open up the computer? Should I pay a pro to do it or can I?

I'm back home with 2 happy boys on 2 new laptops! The salesman surewas grumpy when I didn't want to pay for this plan and that plan... My sons are homeschooled and doing distance computer curriculum in September. A new computer sure is motivating. :) DID I MENTION I LOVE GOTTADEAL?
