wow...I was thinking about getting one on dh's acct....dang... also fyi any new orders now have the 2 day option, but I can't change it on any pending orders. I'll get to listen to the post mistress gripe that I'm not having amazon ship with the po box number again.

I had a po box along with my street address 'cause the postal lady kept bitching at me because my amazon packages never had the po box.......WELL amazon says that they only ship standard shipping to po box addresses. So i changed it to jut my street address, and I tried to change the shipping speed on my order BUT NOOOOO it just has 'no rush' and 'standard'. again, wth?

so wth? who do i complain to? They dont even have that selection for me anymore.

Question: I am a Prime member, why have ALL my orders lately only had standard shipping 3-5 days free and no mention of 2 day shipping?

yay! it JUST came up...got a new vacume and used my $5 off promotional coupon too! I was gonna get the Eureka one at WM on BF for $36, but this one was the same price and even less with the coupon!

Close to the same amount, but less gifts. $150 for ds #2 ($129 kindle so far), $150 for dh ($129 kindle so far), $100 for ds#1 and dil combined (Keurig bought at Kohls). We no longer buy for extended family or inlaws since the recession took away our good paying jobs. A couple of our friends I make gift baskets for. That's it. It's been nice since ds#2 just got a job 'cause he's been buying all his own BF deals himself! I love it. Also ds is now an adult, married and working, so no big pile of gifts needed.

That's where dh and I are at. It used to go up Black friday and come down New Years day. It gets later and later each year. I also got rid of a bunch of my Chritmas stuff. This year probably the first or second week of December the tree will go up, then back down after Christmas day. That's enough.

If there was no will, no need to probate unless another sibling would fight it. It was just my sister and I. Mom did not owe on the trailer, and it seems to me my sister and I went into the Sec of State with the death certificate and transferred the title to me and my sister signed some legal paper relinquishing her share of ownership. It's actually easier with a mobile home than a regular house and property.

When my mom died back in 1997, she had a trailer in a park and debt. My sister and I went thru her stuff and had a local resale furniture come and get all of her furniture and sell it for us. We had a local consignment store come and take ALL of the household goods and whatever they did not want they donated for us. We cleaned the trailer from top to bottom and listed it with a realtor. We had my sister sign over (relinquish) her part in the trailer at the Michigan Seceretary of Stare's office so i could sell it while she flew back to Wisconsin. This was done in 3 days time at christmastime as my mom died the first week of December. The debts were just let go as was a car that had a lien on it. There was no will, hence no executor of the estate, so anyone that was owed anything was SOL. I had the trailer sold by new year's and the funeral guy paid for with that money.

no TRU ships it Friday. IDK how quick TRU would be about cancelling. Ds said it's worth the ectra $33 for him to know he absolutely has it, rather than waiting on the computer at the exact time.

a few years ago they had the 32" tv doorbuster for $199 come up online at 4am...unannounced. Ds was in line at target for a tv for $199. I called him and told him i could order the WM doorbuster at the same price and it would be here next week. he said no, he'd get the one at Target when the doors opened. LOL! Such youth! Like he had a chance with target only having like 3 of the TVs. By the time he called me back to order the WM one they were gone.

wow...now to ask ds if he wants to wait for the lightning deal on Amazon, or preorder this one and pay $33 more in shipping and sales tax (no in store pickup on this item)

I ordered 2 kindles and they each were shipped seperately in their Kindle black cardboard box with a label stuck on the outside of it. I expected them to be inside a regular amazon box. Good thing I got them at the Post office before any of the gift recipients came home!

LOL!!!!!!!!I got a together gift of a Keurig for ds and dil, then I plan on spending another $25 on each of them. I'll give him some bluray movies he wants that will be lightning deals on amazon, and I'll get her some jewelry from the local craft fairs. I have already gave them all of their furniture, washer, dryer, microwave, towels, pots, pans, cookware, dishware, bedding, even a vacume cleaner and weber grill when they moved in together because they had nothing. I bought him a car, then paid to fix that car. I think they are set now. There is a baby on the way and I am busy buying baby things now!
